Would do really well in 2x shoeboxes(4 ea).
I've put 8 cakes into 25 & 30 qt unmodded tubs with good results a few times, but prefer to split cakes into 4's incase of hidden contams.
Hard to give a good answer imo because not all tubs of the same volume will have the same dimensions. Some are flatter, some are taller. You're more going off the surface area and aiming to get substrate 2-3" deep after mixing bulk, with some head space for retaining humidity. My larger tubs are both close to the same LxW dimensions of 2 shoeboxes side by side. Shoe boxes tend to be same dimensions because of their intended purpose.

I have 2 24 qt tubs. They are 11 3/4 in height. They seem to be perfect for it.
