1st time doing grain. Hows it look ?

Did corn in PC for 30mins at 15psi , drained well then jarred up and put in PC for 90mins.
Just curious if this is what it should look like. This is about 5mins out of PC after cool down.

Everyone will say popcorn sucks, I started out there, it works.
Let it sit out for a about 3 days to let that moisture dry up, then give it a shake, if there is moisture on the inside glass, let it dry for another day. Then shoot 'er up when its dry. Just dont wait too long, I'd give it a full week.
Did that with some mazatapec, pop2pop- 1 qt to 3 qts worked perfectly.

Ya jars are still warm in these pics. Im sure pretty sure that moisture will be gone by morning.

It is a little wet. Shake them around to redistribute moisture.

And popcorn works but it does suck compared to other grains. It sucks cuz it's so expensive and it doesn't have very much nutrition. It's mostly just sugars and starch.

Yea. I always shake when I take them out. Sometimes it's from condensation and builds up against the glass. But u don't have pooling water at the bottom so ur probly good

No puddling water. Plus jars have little decorative designs so looks wet in places.

U can go even lower.. 70-75 Is fine

Naturally in ur house? Damn, must be warm where u live. My house doesn't get above 70 and that's with the heat cranked up

Spore germinate faster at around 80, so if the solution is spore I'd keep it at that temp, if it's from agar, it's better at 70 ish.

Bacteria thrives at 80 too. That's why people like growing at 70. It atleast slows it down.

And dude, u'll have alot more fun with agar :smile:

Currently got it at steady 76°f . My agar mea powder should be in mail today hopefully. Have several MS syringes and prints to try. Doing the mini rounds.

About 36hrs after being noc'd .  2 outta 7 jars have just a bit of condensation up top of jars. Steady 78 degrees

Lookin good. Don't worry too much about condensation. As long as there's not excess water at the bottom u should be fine.

Don't look at them too much, spores don't germinate if u look at them too much (kidding of course lol)

If it is the good stuff all 7 jars have it. Its only 1st time with grain but already better then any brf i did. Not much luck there.  Heres a better pic.
