Trumps Presidency ended with a fucking insurrection , there was no policy agenda other than support Trump at any cost .
Do you want to explain the similarities ?
I bet you can't even name one policy Clinton had that another Republican had .

That divergence in policy is largely attributable to the fact that the left refused to vote for Clinton or actually voted for Trump (yep, that was me ). Biden got into office and realized that we’re through fucking around and if the dems want our support, they’d better start reconsidering the neoliberal garbage philosophy that has dictated their economic policy decisions for the past 30 odd years

But let’s be honest, Biden still hasn’t done enough. I’m hoping Trump is cleared of all the legal hassles so I can give you 4 more years of his bullshit. Get back to me in 2028

I could name all kinds of policies that Clinton was running on that I found objectionable. Not to mention that her degenerate husband destroyed the social safety net in the 90’s.

It’s lazy on your part that I’m expected to be the one to hand-feed you info when you offer none to begin with to anyone.

You’ve mentioned no policies. Your posts have all been rants about Bernie supporters and Trump.

Hillary beat Bernie by a larger margin than Barrack Obama beat her by .
The will of the  of the party was pretty obvious .
The Democratic Party rules and state election laws actually hurt Clinton and benefited Sanders.
Allot of  Democratic caucuses and primaries permitted independents to vote, this was a huge benefit to Sanders .

I dunno if you're just scrambling to find a point, but none of those are adequate counterarguments. Of course Clinton beat Bernie in a rigged election, that's the point. Would she have beaten him if it weren't rigged? We will never know, but the circumstances were certainly in her favor.

If you want to act like her getting a copy of debate questions prior to the debate, for her to focus group and prepare her ingenuine answers, go ahead and keep your head in the sand. If it didn't matter, she wouldn't have done it.

Many districts weren't even counted, like what we saw in the buroughs of NY. The number of voting locations were reduced in areas favorable to Bernie to stifle the progressive vote... so.. who really gives a shit who got more votes? That's not an argument. That's like giving an Olympic swimmer a two lap head start and saying he beat Phelps. "He cheated"... "But he won!"... "But he cheated!" lol

A lot of people see it as being a sore loser, but that really isn't the case at all. Would Phelps be a sore loser for refusing to engage in a rigged match? It's fucking ridiculous.

Hunger strikes have historically been quite effective. I abstain in protest. I'm not going to sit here and play pretend election, and in essence, condone corruption and a broken system. Clinton should not be rewarded for being a scheming, caniving, SHRILL Cunt!

Clinton would not have been a better president than Trump. In fact, we would be at war with Russia right this moment had she been president. I believe that wholeheartedly.

The only valid reason to vote for Clinton over Trump, was the open SCOTUS seat, and that was a quite compelling reason. As we now see, Roe v Wade has been overturned. Maybe that's the wakeup call America needs, I do not know. I couldn't hold my nose long enough to vote for that putrid stink. I just got out of jail, so balogna is the last thing I'll be eating... ever again.

Honestly, I despise Trump. You know, back when Ron Paul ran, I was very young, and I find that Libertarian ideals are very appealing to the young and unaffiliated. I was certainly drawn to Ron Paul, because he had a core set of values that he did not deviate from. I respect that in a person. I respected that in Bernie.

All 3 of these candidates were "grass roots" candidates, and one of them became president. For all of the commotion/ranting and raving of Trump supporters, he was actually treated quite well by the powers that be. He was given more air time than any other candidate. The polling data was displayed accurately, etc.

The reason that Trump was the only grass roots candidate to make it to the White House is simple: He's a businessman. How can you get more corporatist than hiring corporate? The left and the right fight amongst themselves, and the more they continue to do so, the more they fail to realize that what they truly hate is corporate influence on politics. They hate Neocon/neolib, centrist politics that serve the oligarchs of America, and not the people.

The CARES act enriched the wealthiest in America far more than the measly little "stimulus" it provided average citizens. And for what? Because that is the goal of our corrupt, piece of shit federal government. That is the primary goal.

Now we are supposed to gawk at Trump getting arrested... What about Pelosi's insider trading? What about Clinton's email server? Trump is the source of the problems in Washington. Now we have our scapegoat. I mean... I just don't really give a shit.

Trump has done a lot of fucked up things, so I guess it's a good thing that he be arrested, but then arrest all the cunts in Washington who are brazenly breaking laws. I just saw a statistic that showed 35 Senators, whose investment portfolios perform better than hedge funds. If that isn't brazen corruption, what is? Why are so many senators so incredibly wealthy?

The typical working class conservative will never be intelligent enough to articulate this fact to themself. And there’s plenty of libs who don’t give a damn about anyone or anything else so long as their lifestyle is unaffected and they’re allowed to be gay or be a minority or be whatever in peace.

Poor people are the last disenfranchised group that is universally reviled by the libs and cons. It’s still perfectly acceptable to hate the poor, and that’s the common ground for dems and repubs. This fact is reflected in the trash policy that both parties churn out together: the subsidies, the one-sided trade pacts, the immigration, the ongoing devaluation of labor, etc..

Luckily we have the benefit of hindsight to see if 'bernie or bust' was a successful strategy.
Did it move the Dem party to the left?
No.
Did it lead to conditions where Bernie could win in 2020?
No.
Did it concede power to the right-wing?
Yup.

It's a losing strategy that hurts the left. Full stop. Anyone telling you that you shouldn't vote should be treated with utter contempt and suspicion. Don't get played my dude.

You basically just described how the left can influence the Dems into getting policy going in the direction we want.. but you're going to vote for trump? The guy who would happily send troops in to kill you if you protest? That is the dumbest thing ive ever heard.

Meanwhile Biden just signed a huge climate bill. Never would have happened with Trump.

I did watch many of the debates. As I said, it was important enough for Clinton to cheat. You are right that most people don't watch the debates, and if they do, they only watch one or two of them, however in this day and age, debates are chopped up into juicy, digestible soundbites, which the masses do readily consume. If Clinton hadn't prepared herself, and made some kind of gaff during the debates, it very well could have been her demise.

Let's not forget that Clinton broke the fucking law and was under investigation during the election. She should have been arrested, plain and simple. Bernie's biggest blunder was downplaying the significance of Clinton's lawlessness.

Is this important? No, Clinton receiving debate questions prior to the debates is small peanuts. I probably would have still voted for her, had this been the only instance of election rigging. It was the combination of many many many such things that lead me to the correct conclusion that she was unfit for the job.

You've conveniently glossed over many of my points, and I doubt your mind is likely to be swayed on this issue, so I suppose we will agree to disagree. My mind is made up. Yes, I watched the debates, and I followed everything very closely. I watched Clinton disenfranchise millions of male voters, calling them "Bernie Bros".

Losing to Donald Trump was an utterly preposterous proposition. How could anyone lose? It was a home fucking run. Clinton lost, because she was a worse candidate, plain and simple. It is to the humiliation of the whole country that this is the "best and brightest" our broken election system has to offer. War with Russia? or a Wall on the boarder... Those are your choices. I'll take the wall.

Technically, there is no climate bill. I think Lynch was referring to the $300+ billion set aside on that Inflation Reduction bullshit.

Had Build Back Better passed, I may have a little more faith. But Biden was never very serious about that. No public condemnation of the two senate holdouts. It was a joke.

My strategy is to give conservatives everything they want. Let’s see how bad things can truly get when legislation is written entirely by the rich for the rich.
