What I think is remarkable is how much job growth has failed to help Trump, compared to past Presidents. Trump's approval ratings seem to depend mainly on the sticking power (or lack thereof) of charges against him.

Job growth was BARELY better and Obama let foreign nations walk all over us.  Job growth isn't everything, Obama was a failure of a President and completely overrated.

Obama had high unemployment, low wages, continued foreign wars after he said he wouldn't, implemented an UN-constutional "health care" program (if you can even call it that).  He talked well and looked sharp, though!  Priorities, right koods?!

Obama started with high unemployment and brought it way down.

I'll agree, he did little/nothing to end foreign wars, and his healthcare plan was nothing more than Romneycare.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Trump is going to be remembered as the worst president of all time in the long run :themoreyouknow:

Hope everyone who voted for him enjoys that. Frankly, I almost look forward to a second term just so that I can watch his approval rating fall even lower than Bush's did at the end of his term. He's going to go out with boos, and no one is going to remember him positively in the long run.

GDP growth at 1.9% what happened to the 5% he promised?


The US can never have growth over 4% again for obvious reasons, investors want growth around 1.5% - 2% and that's what we have today.

So I went to the Washington Nationals parade yesterday


and stumbled upon a gun rights rally on the west lawn. These were some really radical “you’ll never get my guns even if im mentally ill” folks. What really surprised me was, aside from one guy with a trump flag, there was absolutely no overt support for trump in the crowd. No MAGA hats. No pro trump T-shirts. Nothing. I don’t think support for Trump is all that strong with some of the base.
