The war on thanksgiving
Trump thinks he saved thanksgiving now, after thinking he saved Christmas. Maybe he can save independence day next. Liberals don't want to call it independence day.

Some people, they don't like the term, 'independence'. They don't like the term, 'day'. They want to come to your country and call things other names. Well, we're stopping that. You wouldn't have Christmas anymore if Crooked Hillary would have stolen the election. They are trying to steal it still with their fake news impeachment, and then Christmas, Independence Day, and Thanksgiving, they'll be gone. Maybe you can celebrate Chinese man in the moon day, I don't know. I don't know what these people want. I don't think they know what they want. But that's OK. We're keeping Christmas, we're keeping Thanksgiving, and we're keeping independence day, and we're keeping America.

Trump's big investigation of the Russiagate investigators now just looks like another delusional waste of time and effort by the not-to-bright, petty, paranoid man.
I wish Stormy Daniels or someone would release a photo of his micropenis. It's gotta be pretty small. "A small, one million nanometer long."
The report comes out at the same time the president is pushing another right-wing conspiracy theory that the DNC server hacked by the Russians was somehow relocated to the Ukraine.

I'm always asked to do people's work for them, and I often do.
But it's silly to think coal miners would be doing better under a Democrat.
Coal has been dying for a long time, but it death has slowed under Trump:

You can ignore the projections in red if you like. And I'm not even saying this is a good thing (unless you're a coal miner).

SAN FRANCISCO — Tom Steyer's presidential campaign says the Democratic billionaire candidate landed a special Cyber Monday deal — nabbing the www.keepamericagreat.com domain name under his campaign's own branding.
https://www.politico.com/states/california/story/2019/12/02/steyer-buys-keep-america-great-domain-name-9420184 "The Steyer campaign, in a release Monday, said, "Trump’s campaign prides itself on hoarding websites of political opponents, but they forgot to pick up the URL for their signature re-election slogan, 'Keep America Great.'"
The result: A visit to the website with the Trump slogan now reveals the headline, "Trump is a fraud and a failure.'' It offers the opportunity to purchase a bumper sticker which the campaign says "highlights what a majority of Americans already know about Donald Trump,'' that he's "borrowed billions of dollars to bankrupt businesses."
It's unclear how much Steyer paid for the domain name...

One dollar bumper sticker. https://www.keepamericagreat.com/

Such exquisite drama.
Can the slide down the slippery slope be stopped? Or will America get a crazy supreme court to go along with the crazy president, the crazy senate, and the crazy congress?
What's left of America anyways? They can spy on anyone they want whenever they want, they can make people disappear in secret offshore gulags, they fly drones into weaker countries to kill whoever they want and many more besides, they rig elections, if you count the democratic primary of 2016 as an election, now the office of the president is trying to rise above the law itself, and on and on and on. Meanwhile over the last ten years, the richest 400 Americans went from an average of $3,175,000,000 of wealth to $7,500,000,000. An increase of nearly four and a half billion dollars!
How'd you do over the last ten years? Did you do even 1000 times worse? You would have had to have gotten nearly four and a half million dollars richer over last ten years to have done 1000 times worse than that.
Guess you're just not even 1/1000 times the man they are, or, maybe your country is so goddamned fucked up that you're halfway into the dustbin of history and you don't even know it.
Shit just keeps looking uglier and uglier in the USA. It's like the San Andres fault. Something big has got to give eventually and the longer it builds up the more explosive its going to be.
America is spreading its errors throughout the world as best it can, too. This soap opera is everybody's damn business.
To everyone who has worked hard the last 10 years...YOU'RE NOT 1/1000 TIMES THE MAN HE IS! HA! HA! SOME OLD GEEZER DID OVER 1000 TIMES THE WORK YOU DID!!

This is cute as hell. You could frame this.
George Zimmerman is suing Trayvon Martin's family for $100,000,000. Saying effectively, it was a big witch-hunt against him.
Hmm. Well now. Someone is encouraging deplorable behaviour by example. So I put it in with the Trump 2020 thread. You sleep with dogs, you wake up with fleas, sonny.

Now the president isn't committed to defending NATO countries if they are 'delinquent' on spending 2% of their GDP on the military.
I guess that's what it's all about then? The present world order exists to give a cut to weapons manufactures, otherwise it's worth losing.
After tearing up the Paris Accord and the Iran nuclear deal, NATO solidarity is no longer of paramount importance, apparently. I actually don't even believe it. I just think he is again talking about things he doesn't understand, and the American Generals are committed to NATO solidarity, and probably hope they don't get asked about this and can't wait till old stupid goes away hopefully soon.
A reporter asks the president directly if the USA is commited to action should a NATO country get attacked at 4:10.
Ha Ha. He even looks like he has no brain.

If you have been paying attention this is old news
That's a mash of talking points, and they offer no insight what-so-ever.
Why isn't the economy getting enough food and housing to some people? How much does the stock market have to go up before there are no hungry kids in America? Why aren't glaring deficiencies like that, and they are numerous, addressed when analyzing the health of the economy?
See, the economy exists to get the things we need and send them to where they need to go. That's the whole point of it.
It's not doing that very well for millions of people. So I'm not impressed. Much more impressed by Australia's economy, Norway's economy, Denmark's economy, etc.
Show me one economy that meets the needs of every single person.
You and I know that your argument is a farce.
I am here to debate and discuss its obvious you are not here to do the same with your ridiculous arguments.
Your argument here is, "its not perfect so its bad"
In all those countries you mentioned there are still impoverished and malnourished people.
You are the kinda guy that thinks, "We waste so much food we could feed starving africans"
Without understanding the logistical realities,
I dont think you are incapable of understanding the reality of the situatuin but I do think you are being purposely obtuse because if you conceded that anything is good in America you would burst into flames for "supporting trump"
Your bullshit disgusts me, you are anti-intellectual preferring to adhere to falsehoods and smears.
I do not envy whatever petty life you lead
Im afraid that's not very convincing. I don't find it very challenging to my convictions on this matter. Perhaps you could be more specific.
Certain deficiencies of the American economy, like the level of homelessness and poverty, student debt, even public debt and deficits, do not exist in what I am calling better examples of healthy economies in Western Europe, particularly Scandinavia and Denmark.
Look at Denmark. It's public debt is 34% of GDP. The citizens enjoy universal health insurance and free tuition.
Look at USA. It's public debt is over 105% of GDP and growing quickly, the citizens pay through the nose for health insurance if they can even get it at all, and under Trump the number who cannot get it has risen by 7 million! Millions of students come out of post-secondary with enormous debts.
Like, what are you gonna say about that? 'Yeah but major asset class valuation has increased'?
It's a heartbreaker to have a Petty life

So what makes a good job? Simply put, middle-class wages and benefits like health insurance, according to previous research from Brookings. But only about 30 million Americans have good jobs by that definition

An east Toronto church is urging Canadians to reflect on the plight of migrants and refugees with a poignant reimagining the Christian nativity scene that is so common during the holiday season.
"At least one other Christian church has used the Christmas season as an opportunity to protest the treatment of asylum seekers in the U.S.
A Methodist church in California made headlines this week with its outdoor own nativity scene featuring Jesus, Mary and Joseph in separate cages lined with barbed wire."

I noticed the national broadcaster used the words 'holiday season' instead of 'christmas' here. I can't say I feel threatened by that or think that means there is a war on christmas. It's just a holiday season, with christmas, Boxing Day and New Years all in a week.
