I don't consider Russia a "threat" in the traditional sense, and I didn't vote for Mango Mussolini.

Russia is a threat because it is efficiently exploiting pre-existing fault lines within American society. This is pretty basic foreign policy, and something that the US does worldwide.

Considering this a "threat" speaks more to the failures of the US than anything else.

It’s Lincoln’s fault . He shouldn’t have let the southern generals ride back on their horses after they surrendered . He should have taken all of their shit and made them walk home in shame with no dignity .
  We’ve been living with dignified and entitled white supremacy in this country since it’s creation .
  There’s been a clear divide since we had a war over it because the winners chose to give it respect .  They were allowed to create a culture around it , celebrate it , build creepy fucking statues honoring the losers for it , and we even allowed them to tell us all it’s our history like if we are all responsible for their continuation of it .
    This is  what the Russians are exploiting . Russia is a threat because Of Trumps base .

If Muslims had tried to kidnap a governor we would be hearing Trump brag about banning Muslims .  If Mexicans had done it , we would be listening to him talk about shutting down the southern border and separating kids from their families ,
  buuut since it was obviously white supremacy clowns , he attacked the governor .
  I don’t really know if he’s secretly working with Russia or not , he may as well be though . It wouldn’t make a difference at this point , it wouldn’t change my opinion of him or the people that support him , vote for him or defend him from make believe at all .

So the WHO have now come round to a position which Trump has held from the beginning - lockdowns are just there to buy time and should be lifted as soon as possible, to minimise economic and social damage.

I am personally finding the Regeneron story quite uplifting. Even if it is too expensive to give to everyone as long as we can make enough for those critical for the functioning of the society like political and military leadership, front line health workers, border control etc we can carry on until a vaccine is available in numbers. The media effort to undermine Trump's therapeutics-assisted recovery as not relevant for the population at large is misguided. "Normal" people have no access to Regeneron just like they do not drive in armoured limousines and fly Air Force One but it is in our best interest that the political leadership does.
