What they should do is have more politics classes in school, I learned the bare minimum how my own countries system worked, and it wasnt drilled into my head and I forgot by the time it was important to know

I went to a dumb high school, and there was no politics classes in my highschool

People just need to be better educated to distinguish between fact and fiction, but it's not all education either, like I'm a dumb person who is anti trump, and I know of someone on YouTube who (says he) is smart who is a major trump supporter, it's like when it comes to politics he turns his brain off, I was subbed to him for metal detecting videos but seeing his pro trump rants I unsubscribed

Maybe we should have politics duty like we have jury duty, when you get randomly picked and you have to spend a week or two learning politics lmao

What would you learn in politics duty, the difference between left and right, that's a big one people don't understand, people call the center or center right the left, there's not very many actually left politicians, should it teach workers being in charge vs capital being in charge, who in their right mind would pick capital over workers, other than rich people making millions of the current system

Really bad jobs data came out and the markets are tanking. Private sector layoffs more than doubled in February compared to January

More data suggesting we are heading into a recession, if not already in one. It’s insane that one man can do this much damage. This is a record high for this index, surpassing the 2008 and 2020 recessions.

So I had to deal with DC rush hour today and it’s really bad. It took me over an hour to go from Oxon Hill to downtown DC, which without traffic is 15 minutes. There was a car on fire on the 14th street bridge. I thought it was a plane crash at first

The new format is garbage, 16 more nations from the previous format. 48 fucking teams. What in the ever living fuck. One of the biggest examples of careful of what you wish for Ive ever seen was the removal of Sepp Blatter, the previous FIFA president.

Sepp Blatter was a corrupt mans hero. From the 2 million he gave Platini, his world cup broadcasting rights scheme, Jack Warner, several investigations from the Swiss and our own FBI, he was a model of corruption. It got so bad sponsors were threating to drop FIFA. They got rid of him and installed Infantino, who is more of a cash whore than Blatter ever was. This format of 48 teams dilutes the tournament and is nothing more than a cash grab. His super league bullshit plan threatens smaller clubs throughout Europe, his centralization of power, cozying up to dictators, the worsening transparency, his I could give a fuck about workers stance... it just goes on and on, all of it is horrible for football.

He also drives a wedge between FIFA and UEFA, the second most powerful football organization in the world. It makes me wonder that if things got really bad geopolitically would leaving FIFA be an option. I prefer the Euros anyway.


Dont even get me started on this World Club Cup in the US happening this summer. What a fuck show...
