I haven’t seen a dead bird in years and now this two days after my friends chickens died and bird flu is reported all over the place. I don’t think so.

This is reportedly the scene at the border as migrant workers flee the US. This is going to get bad and fast. We’re going to see a period of 1%+ monthly inflation due to increased food cost, and that is before the tariffs

I was running some errands today and on the freeway there was a long "parade" of Trumpers. Consisting of Trump & American flags, hazard lights flashing, folks on motorcycles revving their engines, people in semi-trucks & cars honking their horns, dudes hanging out windows hollering with fist pumping and "salutes", the lead truck had a speaker/PA blaring music and what ever they were hollering....

...from the point I came up on the tail end of the parade to the point I passed the front it was about 2.5 miles long. The parade ended up getting off the same exit I did and rolled through the main drag of the town (small town).


The only thing the bugged me was how damn slow they were rolling along on the free way, doing about 35mph in a 65mph (where most folks do 70)...and how cluttered traffic became on the freeway and in town. I did think it was silly how stoked and fired-up & boisterous some of these folks were though lol, sheesh.



I know things like this are quite common across the country, more so in some areas I imagine, but this is in one of the far northern counties on the coast of California...small population...there is quite a lot of "liberal" & "hippy" folks around these parts, but there is no doubt a lot of Trumper-republicans in the mix.

My room mate said there were some of these "Trump Parades" around here some years ago, first one I've seen though.

For one thing, there's nobody up there.  Trees can't fight or vote.  Secondly, lolwut? If course there are lots of guns in California.  There's 40 million people, bruh.  Many counties don't like to issue a CCW and for whatever reason scary black plastic furniture is mostly banned but I could go to California and buy a mini-14 or a compliant AR right now.  They shoot you just as dead whether they have a pistol grip or not.

I’m headed to the grocery store in a bit to grab a few things eggs being one of them. I’ll take some price photos and share them.

That’s a crazy price! I’ve noticed that different stores in my area have ridiculous price ranges for eggs. I know many of the stores are regional. My area has Giant and Food Lion as their respective regional grocery stores. Then the typical Whole Foods and Weggmans are always higher. But Giant is double the price of FoodLion on eggs.
