Honestly he ran a good campaign. I even heard from some of my liberal friends some compliments on stuff like the RNC. It was very well run, whoever handled his campaign did a good job.

He was the first elected president in history that broke the script and started appealing to the new age of media (podcasts) rather than the legacy media. (CNN, FOX, MSNBC, etc...)

(It's too bad Bernie never won an election because he could have taken this title.)

Because of this move, and his subsequent election, legacy media is now dying and will never reclaim power. Over the next few years they will become more and more irrelevant, and I'm all for it.

LoL, Trump was not the first, not even by a long shot.  He’s a reality T.V. President.  Like the Frontrunner for a cheesy 80s band, or a show being put on by whomever. 

Another thing - He didn’t run his own campaign, that’s hypoerbole. 
He had teams of people running it for him, coordinating, managing, serving, setting up, you know - doing all the work so that he could go out there on stage like a good front man or reality tv actor does.    That’s his thing.

And - he also is not the first to be blacklisted loved by the media - since they make ass loads of money off of hating on him and him on them.  It’s an open dirty secret that it’s a co-mutual relationship. 
Legacy media, sure. As, again,he earns gains from bad press as much as good press because any form of exposure through mass media keeps him in the public’s mind.  Associative memory works like that.  Once again, though - not the first by a long shot.

Maybe the first you’re aware of, though.  He certainly ran at a time when such things were already ripe for the picking.  So that was a wise move to rely on any form of exposure, legacy media or otherwise.

I don't understand. There hasn't been a president prior to Trump who has appeared on a major podcast. What are you getting at?

Trump is smart enough to bring the right people around him with their various skillsets to accomplish his goal, yes. If you're smart enough to give Trump credit for knowing who to hire to help run his campaign, and not aware enough to recognize the same will be true for his presidency now that he is no longer being cock-blocked like he was in 2016, then you're kind of playing with a double-standard.

Right, but I’m referring Presidential Candidates.  In that particular respect he isn’t the first.  Though, as President, sure.

Also.. I’m not using a double standard because I’m not saying nor do I think of things like the way you put them .

Also I'd say that's not the primary reason trump won. A good amount of people think Reagan would've lost to Mondale if he didn't survive the assassination attempt. It always boosts the candidates popularity by significant margins. Then Biden had the worst debate in U.S. presidential history. That moved the needle a ton. Trump also appealed to people but it's not the only or even primary reason he won.
