We have entered the phase of history where video evidence is worthless because of AI.

Maybe it's still usable in an actual courtroom since it can still be analyzed. Maybe.

Societies will have to develop some sort of blockchain technology that can verify the source of videos, because, yeah, digitally created video (and audio) might as well be real for half the population.

I think we need to criminalize manufacturing or distributing deep fakes when the intent is to misinform the audience. It’s fraud and identity theft. If someone wrote a letter claiming to be a person they are not, and then signed that letter with a fake signature, that is forgery. I think using someone’s face and voice in a video is analogous to signing their name on a letter.

They call it Fox Brain rot for a reason. Anyone who has a daughter and actually cares about their daughter should be ashamed of themselves for voting for Trump.

But then again, maybe they like rapists? Maybe they like forcing women to carry babies until they literally die from not being able to get a life-saving abortion.

25,000 women in Texas who were raped have been forced to give birth and a chunk of those died from doctors being afraid to give an abortion until the mothers life was in danger and then they died anyway because it was too late.

To be fair to them, there’s probably nothing quite like the rush that comes with joining a religio-political cult and then casting one’s vote in its favor in a presidential election based primarily upon the manipulation of humanity’s deep seated traumas and ignorant tendencies toward conspiratorial thinking, general fearful disposition, poor education, lack of critical thinking, and herd-mentality or whatnot.

The sad part is that they've been led to believe that they're somehow active members of the team, when the team is just corrupt billionaires and politicians who are trying to take everything from them to further enrich themselves.

They're out there losing their minds screaming and clapping as the richest man on earth prances around on stage and felates their dead leader, another deeply corrupt billionaire who stands for pretty much everything they hate if they spared 1 of their 2 brain cells to actually think about it for a minute

Despite Elon being a foreigner himself, the image of him jumping in boundless joy while at a Donnie rally seems to me so potently brimming with pure patriotism, that gazing at it for too long actually brings pains to those parts of my genome which just so happen to be associated in evolutionary history as having emerged more so within foreign lands than to those parts of it associated with North America.

Completely agree, but don’t think it would meaningfully minimize the problem.
