The biggest difference is the absence of gender in English. English substitutes this, how I see it, with articles; a, an and the. English also then uses pronouns like which and that, whereas in latin they use qui, quae, quod, and they use the gender of the pronoun to refer to a certain thing distinctly, instead of having to focus so much on word order. And there are two forms of 'that' in Latin - iste and ille. I think also that English has more punctuation, and that the punctuation is actually required mostly to accommodate the Latin and Greek ways of thinking.

The difference is really very simple and easy, and there is truly little difference, except that English is a zombie language and thus has a different appearance in its sophistication. English is just more wordy -- unnecessarily wordy, some might say.
Dude. English is not a Romance language. It does not come from Latin. We have Latin words. That’s it. Have you ever studied Latin? It isn’t remotely like English. Latin is a ridiculously complicated language and I’m glad it’s dead. Oh you want to get into the sciences they said, study Latin. Pfft waste of time. Study French and learn a useful language and get most of the vocabulary benefits.

Word order is used for emphasis in complex phrases in latin. Certain words are usually followed by another in Latin, and there are still many of the regularities you find in English, like a noun and an adjective side by side, or a preposition followed by its direct object and another adjective. The word order, however, is not needed, and words for emphasis can be placed in between what wouldn't be able to make sense in English, because word order is strict. The sentence would become nonsensical in English.

Recently I've become much more open to French culture and have totally dropped any distain I feel for them. Of course one must admit that any of the more nonsensical or bizarre aspects of English are because of the french. Maybe it's not as much urban folks but the fast and curt modern world that has led to such a stark degeneration of modern thinking.

Right instead of using word order, Latin has a dozen different versions of the same noun that tell you if it’s the subject, object and the case. It’s absurd.

I learned French in Quebec, which is like learning English in Alabama.

I have studied Latin for years. I began to care about it so I could read philosophy written in Latin, because I wanted to know more that can only be understood in the actual text itself. You can only say so much in translation. I take philosophy seriously still, so that is why I personally care.

Let sea-discoverers to new worlds have gone, Let maps to other, worlds on worlds have shown, Let us possess one world, each hath one, and is one

Good lord, Donald Trump is the most litigious asshole in my lifetime. He has bullied and broken so many people using the legal system. He learned it from Roy Cohn, one of the most depraved and evil men of the 20th century. He cheats. He lies. He betrays. Donald Trump is a leech on humanity, and he’s finally getting what he deserves after decades of zero accountability. I hope he spends the rest of his life watching everything he’s built using deceit and graft crumble around him. That is Justice.

I think you are spewing more nonsense. This too is quite typical for you when it comes to political topics.

So you don’t have any thoughts on all those documents linking Donald Trump to rapist island? Because you refusing to provide evidence is quite typical of you. I bring links and evidence to back up the claims that I make. https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/epstein-documents-trump.html
Tell me again why did that little girl make a crayon drawing of Russia shooting missiles at Ukraine before the war started. I love hearing your excuse. It’s remarkably bad even for someone who spews as much propaganda as you do.

Sure Donald and Jeffrey partied together. Sure, girls were trafficked from Trumps estate. Sure, Trump would hang out at Jeffery’s house. Sure, he flew on Epstein’s plane. Sure, when the media wanted to know things about Epstein, they would ask Trump. Sure, Trump owned a beauty pageant for teenage girls and bragged that he could walk into the dressing rooms because he was the owner. Sure, he wished Ghislaine well after she was arrested.
But what’s important is there is no evidence Trump ever went to that island, and that’s all the MAGA freaks need to pretend that Trump wasn’t at least living vicariously through Epstein, if not involved.

To stay and appeal a civil judgement in the federal system, you generally have to deposit the value of the judgement as a bond that will be refunded if the appeal succeeds, or paid to the plaintiff if it doesn’t. Usually the court asks for another 20% to cover interest and other costs to the plaintiff. Essentially, if Trump intends to appeal this case, he has to pony up $100 million in cash, or get someone to deposit cash using his properties as collateral. Considering that he may soon be disgorged of his properties, he may have no choice but to use cash.
Regardless, he will lose access to that money almost immediately, assuming he is going to appeal.
He already has 6 million in escrow for the appeal of the first trial.
