Here's Trump not paying his bills again.

A protest against perceived threat to welfare of family or wellbeing is irrational?
If that is seemingly your only recourse?
It ends up pitting the wellbeing of some against others. And neither side is willing to let the other decide who gets the tip in their favor.
It's a really fucked up situation and I see the argument on both sides.
It is irrational since the government could fund their worries away in short order. Their failure to see this obvious truth is very telling.
Again, they should be protesting the lack of funding for their economic survival, not the mandated shutdown due to a pandemic.
The boys on Wall Street aren't protesting anything, why is that?

For once, Qman and I are in full agreement. This is a problem that is easily solved. The federal government pisses money away like water, and this is the one time that they can reach into those deep pockets and do the right thing for EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN.
We have the resources to make sure that everyone can stay in their homes, still eat, still have basic necessities, and not have a huge bill and unemployment thereafter. It's time to set aside the ideology of extreme self-reliance and rugged independence and embrace the notion that we are in a situation that requires unity and compromise. A temporary situation that the federal government can and should address.

dumpy is a lot closer to Pol Pot.
What are the parallels you see between trump's America and nazi Germany? Or even pol pot for that matter
Mostly the genocide, scapegoating of foreigners, and weak attempts at consolidation of power. Hence Pol Pot. At least Hitler accomplished what he set out to do, while Pol Pot just kinda killed people and fucked up the economy for no obvious reason.

For someone who "tells it like it is", it sure does seem he needs a lot of reinterpretation and translation.
Tell me, how do you interpret this?

You guys can go back and forth about precisely the language and the way it was said, but under any analysis it indicates that he is a stupid person.

There is a portion of the population who ARE proud of the fact that a stupid person is President. When Obama was President, there was a portion of the population who were proud of a black man being President. A lot of black people had a feeling that "one of us is finally getting a shot."
Now, stupid people all across America are thinking, "Yes! Finally, we have a true representative!"

You said it right at least this time.
If it is a legit failure, it is OUR failure. Yours, and mine, and Trump's.
It can't be OUR failure, but all Trump's fault.
Additionally, the accounting methods of cases and numbers are wacko because there are all kinds of testing and reporting methods being used depending on the state and hospital and there are also people in the medical field testifying that every death is a COVID death because they know they're going to get paid for services.
Hospitals are businesses and business is good when payment is guaranteed.
The case against Trump is mostly superfluous nitpicking about his delivery of words and appearance.
Grow up.

Yeah at least have the balls to make an argument.

I could respect that honesty.

Welcome to the 1800's. Where do you get your information from?
Experience mostly. Eating well as a result of your labor on land you own will never go out of style. Having a surplus to share and trade will never go out of style. Homesteading, ranching, farming will never go out of style.
It means you rely on no external inputs for survival.
That's as American as it gets. You don't hear much from us, because we're working the land and raising families. But we're out here living the American dream while other people who don't have their own lives together are preaching that they know what is best for other people.
That's fine that you found a niche that works for you. But since the rest of the U.S, and developed world has moved from agricultural to industrial to post industrial, you're hardly the backbone of America.
Let's face it. You don't really want to hear what we have to say, and vice versa.

biden does not excite voters, and seems to offer little more than continuing what Trump has already done
Biden isn’t going to continue to nominate federalist society judges to permanent seats in the federal judiciary. One more Supreme Court pick and abortion is gone. The court will side with corporations for a generation. Ever progressive policy will be struck down for the next 25 years. This shit is not a joke. We are getting close to the point where it will not matter who the president is because the courts will be so stacked against anything arising from a liberal ideology, the best we can hope for is to not backslide for two decades. We spent six years with the senate essentially refusing to allow Obama to appoint judges, including a rightful appointment to the Supreme Court and since trump was elected they have been flooding the system with the most right wing, corporatist and YOUNG judges in America. I will take decades to undo the damage already done. Another four years and there will be no hope.
Republicans will vote for trump even if they hate him just to attain the goal of controlling women’s bodies. The have been working this plan since the eighties and now we have a bunch of cry baby liberals who would rather nurse their butthurt feelings about their candidate then stop the republicans from reaching their goal. It’s pathetic.

Yes they argued against gays being protected by the law. That is anti-gay. One of the first things the administration did was remove the protections for gay people working for federal contractors. The admistration has filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court in support of discriminating against gay people who want to be foster parents. Trump banned trans people from serving in the military. Trump has said he opposes the equality act:
Quote:
The Equality Act is a bill in the United States Congress, that, if passed, would amend the Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in employment, housing, public accommodations, public education, federal funding, credit, and the jury system.
Trump serves the interests of his evangelical base. There is nothing pro gay about his policies.

Trump was looking as vibrant and charismatic as ever!! I'm glad he spent 10 minutes telling the story about walking down the ramp. He's a smart guy and wasn't going to let the media paint him as weak or coming down with something.
4 more years coming right up!
MAGA TRUMP 2020

And we all really needed him to acknowledge that he was letting the liberal cities destroy themselves for a bit intentionally because many were accusing him of turning a blind eye or being too passive on the matter. But in reality, it was probably more effective to let the libs run their angry tantrum course to show America who the bad guys really are.
He's still got my vote!
Do you have any awareness how fucking weird these kinds of posts sound? You sound like a North Korean.

The president spent 15 minutes explaining how he walked down a ramp and you have no clue how pathetic that is.
