People are... Do you see the type of smile on his face? At this point it is just laughable what is happening. It is a total disaster. It would be tragic, but it is honestly more like Albert Camus' The Stranger. It's absurd. Trump ever being elected was totally absurd. It's weirdly absurd more and more often, frankly.

Funny how there have been multiple constitutional crises and things happening lately that would have been considered unthinkable a couple decades ago. And nobody seems to think it is strange.

You guys should really listen to me when I tell you this country is going to break apart. The ideological divides are becoming too steep, plus there is a large percentage of the population that simply won't accept having their freedoms erased and at the same time being made economically destitute on the behalf of a few ego-maniacal elites, their pawns that infest both political parties and their armies of woke college kids who are convinced that the Constitution is racist, among other inanities. Meanwhile fuel is being constantly poured on the fire by the MSM with their batshit rhetoric.

Ten years, maybe twenty. Doesn't matter, it's coming. The only sure thing is that this situation is unsustainable. This is a textbook late-stage empire phase before shit goes haywire. Infact, I have heard from several Russians that the situation in the USA right now is quite similar to the USSR prior to its dissolution.

Not to mention the election this year is going to be a nightmare. I might actually have to go camping or something for a few weeks during the election. This is going to be a complete fucking shitshow.

Unthinkable? The same thing happened in the 50s and 60s when states refused to desegregate schools under court order. The federal government sent the military in to enforce the courts’ order.
