Be patient - the wait will be worth it.
It is interesting that even the CNN clowns are now bailing out on Bernie's most outrageous policies. But I guess this is consistent with the Dems plan to nominate a candidate purely on their chances to beat Trump - Bernie falls short so they are turning on him...
Now? was there a point where CNN supported Bernie and his policies? they would have to have supported him at some point to now be turning on him
last time around it was either them or MSNBC that grilled him with questions about why he doesn't drop out and let Hillary become the first woman president
out of Trump and Bernie, media wants Trump someone who keeps the establishment safe, and who drives up their ratings

It has nothing to do with us liking fox or trump... it's more of a "holy shit how can msnbc possibly be worse than fox". It's a political move that they(Fox) see as destabilizing the democratic party. I can gaurentee you that there will not be positive coverage of Bernie if he wins the primary. However for now, it pays for them to point out the corruption of the DNC, and fragment the primary process as much as they can.

Remember when Trump 'challenged' Bernie to a debate if he could raise like 10 million$ for charity within a short span of time, smugly assuming he couldn't
And then Bernie did - in a couple days, and Trump backed the fuck down
Quote:
"If he paid a sum toward charity I would love to do that," said the business mogul, noting that a Sanders vs. Trump debate "would have such high ratings."
In a campaign stop in North Dakota, Trump said Sanderrs would need to raise $10 million for charity in order for the debate to happen.
Sanders quickly responded with a tweet reading, "Game On. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7th primary."
Your candidate is afraid of Bernie

Oh brother, Bernie Sanders and the movement for a just society gives meetoo nightmares.
 Scary Bernie
Peer reviewed science, man. What's it say about what we are doing to the environment? That's where it's at, not imagined scenarios of wicked greenies.
A bad sounding thing that some environmentalist supposedly said is how you characterize environmentalism, and a harmless aspect of a religious person's life, praying, is how you characterize what Paula White is doing.
This person is in Trump's White house as his spiritual advisor.
Trump ostensibly believes in this shit she's saying and doing, or else he's doing it to fake out the evangelical voters.
Neither of those things is good. He's a nut or a phoney here.

I would like to find some old scare talk about FDR, see how it compares.

P sure all the regulars here know that engaging the character that is the drive-by, one-liner, no discussion, trump propaganda parroting poster named meltdowner is futile.
It's not here for discussion, fal, but only wants to puke unsupported, over the top rhetoric in order to get a reaction. It's an old, tired, and unimaginative discussion board persona that's been used to disrupt good discussion since the advent of internet discussion forums

Ummm which part of the hate speech were you wondering about exactly? The bit about shooting people? or the the bit about the WASP immigration policy? Overall I'd say no, it's mostly inaccurate, aggressive, rubbish with the occasional sprinkle of right wing talking points. Sort of like if you sprinkled toilet paper confetti over a turd.... mmmmm..... toilet paper.
Well you did ask.
Anything else I can help you with?

What could be have done that you would approve of? Should we have comited national economic suicide sooner?
If you could watch that and not question why you like Trump, or if he is being effective, you have some issues dude
Watch Trumps briefings to the nation - and compare it to the briefings done by literally every other governor, premier (canada), etc..
Trump sounds like a bumbling fucking fool every time he speaks. I heard him congratulate companies for fuck sakes - but no mention that day of any of the working class people who are carrying society through this pandemic. Every other government person I see speak to the public about the pandemic makes sure to thank the front-line workers, in retail, grocery, truck drivers, medical personnel etc...and they do it constantly.
Trump has made up bullshit lies about getting drugs "fast-tracked" and even has gone so far to push an anti-viral drug that seriously at this point has no real evidence that it works. At all. There is none. And he won't shut the fuck up about it.

Metoo said: I have a lot of time for Trump but his response to the covid drama is poor. Do not believe the initial testing fiasco can be pinned on him but a month down we are in the timespace cone of his influence and things are still not great. Also his messaging is overly political. I got (and am still getting) the positive spin but his early statements are now sounding nonchalant.
What is also not helping is the constant hostility of the left wing media. The likes of CNN should be responsible enough to shelve their ideological preferences and stop the gotcha reporting of what Trump does. Their bias is pathetic. They roasted him when he said that it is his "hunch" the mortailty of covid is under 1% and that chloroquine might work. Now, when it turned out he was right, no credit is given. These are just cheap shots against a president they hate no matter what he says.
I credit Trump with making everyone realise that the next stage of recovery - restarting the economy - is just as important as saving lives. Yes - the human misery and suicides during the depression which is coming will add to the covid tally. Lockdowns are a costly way to fight pandemics and even the US cannot afford them indefinitely.
The US can afford it, but The Elite doesn't want to afford it. They want trillions in bailouts for themselves while Joe-Six Pack loses his job and gets kicked out of his house/apartment.
In fact, the wealthy are going to come out of this even better than before as they grab more assets for free from the peasants. Both parties are making sure of that reality.

No, I understand what you are saying, but when you say proportionality isn't important, you aren't making sense.
The fact of the matter is that the wealthy place a heavier burden on system generally at the cost of others. So they should absolutely pay greater taxes, and do so at greater percentages. They will still be richer, they will just help the system compensate for their burden at more representative rates. Having too much wealth does harm others, this is a fact. Inequality hurts everyone, including the rich.

The poor in the US are still poor, but relative to the rest of the world we arent. Most people complaining are complaining through devivices thwwt were made by the IP of wealthy people.
Our tax policies affect everyone. Higher taxes inscentivises companies to go other places and people to invest other places
Ya because gluttonous capitalists who pollute our skies and waters, dodge taxes and outsource labor for slave wages, and contribute to nothing but rampant over consumerism really contribute more to society than teachers, doctors and public servants who dedicate their lives to societal betterment

Most of the population are getting $1200 checks and he's giving money to businesses to keep them open. He's wants to get the country reopened as soon as possible. What more do you people want? He's doing a good job but the Democrats are never going to admit it. Do you really think Joe Biden would do a better job right now? If joe Biden was president we would be completely fucked right now and I imagine he would keep the country locked down for the rest of the year.
Hmm, considering Wall Street has received $4-6 trillion (and growing) and Main Street less than $500 billion. I want to see mortgage and rent relief for 12 months, the cancellation of all student debt, Medicare For All and UBI of $1500 per month until the economy is completely back to "normal".

'Murica deserves Trump. I mean, I won't vote for his scurvy ass but I don't even think he's the biggest threat to progress in this election. As bad as he is, the other demented rapist already promised that nothing would fundamentally change and neither would anyone's standard of living. At least with Trump there's always the hope that he fucks things up bad enough for people to fucking learn for once. Probably not, but a man can dream, can't he?

Nah. The nation has slowly turned into a bunch of idiots watching other idiots do idiotic things on reality TV. Trump is one of those reality TV idiots, so when the idiotic populous got a chance to vote for one of the idiots they love to watch on TV doing idiotic things, they jumped at the chance.
I know a lot of Trump supporters. Not a single one really knows why he/she even likes Trump other than, "he tells it like it is." Whatever that even means.
Combine the above with the fact that there isn't even a reasonable choice on the other side, of course Trump won. It's no different this time. Biden is worse than Hillary, and Hillary was scraping the bottom as it is.
I'm voting for Corey Booker.
