Identification

Hey guys! I’m relatively new at mushroom hunting/identification. Recently I found some curious specimes (see pictures), but even with the Paul Stamets identification guide, I failed to identify them. I need some help. I found them in Columbia in a grassy area with dung nearby, but they didn’t seem to grow on it. They also didn’t have the bluish reaction. I did some spore prints, and they are pretty dark. I would be really grateful if someone helped me.

Panaeolus sp. and the Yellow one, in the group picture, with Orangey Gills is Bolbtius titubans.
The Panaeolus are probably active unless they have Brown coloured spore print.

Thank you very much! Do you think the Panaeolus ones are safe to ingest? I know it’s a dumb question, but it’s a matter of life and death haha. The spores on the pictures are from those from the not yellow ones (dark).

There are no toxic Panaeolus species, they are safe to ingest. But those spore prints look brown to me, in which case they wouln't be psychoactive.

I definitely see a blue hue on the bottom of the stipes, I'm just not sure it's from bruising or not.

Me too, the mycelium looks a little blueish, only on my phone though, it looks more white on my computer. OP, can you confirm the bluing mycelium, and which mushroom in particular the print came from? Might be a mixed bag, the last pic looks like Panaeolina foenisecii. Could you spore print all of them?

The picture colour is quite cool(Blue), it's why it appears Blue.

It wasn’t blue. I bruised most of them and none bruised the typicall bluish that you see that indicates that psilocybin is or was there.

Panaeolus foenisecii and Bolbitius titubans. Both are edible and neither are active.

No there's not anything that indicates the presence of active indoles.
