I wished I could grow marijuana like the people in this thread do, they are such beautiful plants.

Been using fox farm for years with biocanna nutes but just switched to pro mix hp and nectar for the gods for nutes. Curious if anyone else runs this combo and what results have you had? Strain specific? I know pro mix hp isnβt organic stamped but curious what others are doing for organic grows. Quality and flavor is the goal yield is not the focus. Thanks everyone.

I got some cheap potting soil an organic ferts 5-4-4 all purpose plant food. Hopefully that fixes the discoloration.

Marmie, I'd say let em go till day 70-75. At least 70. It's much easier to harvest early than late. But I like ripe amber trichs and mellow, narcotic puffs. They can easily have the extra time, looking at the green of the leaves and the amount of white pistils and clear trich heads.

Here are my Sweet Skunk Autoflowers. About 8 weeks old and under really cheap LED lights.

Soon I'm going to start some seedlings for outdoor growing. They will be a mix of Auto's and Photo-period

Kind of expensive. The one place near me has feminized 10 packs of seeds for $100 and regular 20 pack for $100. I get my seeds online where they are still kind of expensive, but they usually give you a couple free seeds. Can you order online?
You might be able to find a grower on craigslist or facebook in the area you're going to and see if they can sell you some seeds. That might be a little sketchy depending on the person you contact.

Yellow growth tips aren't from too much light. Give em some epsom salts, like a teaspoon to 3 quarts of water, until they start darkening again.
Too strong lighting in growth will cause the leaves to "clap their hands" with their top leaves. They do that so the light doesn't fall straight onto the cells, so the cells get a bit of protection from their own shadow.
Yellowing and browning from too much light looks different, at least AFAICT from the pic you posted.

@ Nimph- Your plants just look a little overwatered to me, that can cause yellowing too sometimes.

Thanks Lizard I appreciate the help! I'm going to make a note to try that starting in the morning. I might need to go get some epsom from the store.
These have been growing in a room that averages 40 to 60 degrees and I haven't really been giving them any effort because I didn't think they would produce much. I'm just experimenting until outdoor season is here, which is coming up very soon!

Could also be the case!
Cold feet, too much water (too little magnesium, too little iron). That's basically what I'd check/amend. If temps go too low in the soil, or if the soil is too wet, the plant will have trouble taking up magnesium and iron so giving extra won't help either. Only having them dry up a bit and/or keeping your substrate warmer can help in that case. Though if temps are too hot in the growroom (above 80Β°F) and/or lights are too powerful that can make thing worse as well. It just doesn't seem likely to me that those are part of your issues. What light are you running?

I was talking to Nimph
The one in the back looks like it can use some epsom salt, or have it's pH lowered, so get some pH strips if you don't already have em, test the soil (make water of pH 6 (adjust dropwise with vinegar, around 4 drops per quart), give until it comes out the bottom, test water before giving and after recollecting, see how much it changed. PH of soil should be around 5-6.5. If it comes out higher than it went in (pH 6 because you adjusted) you should keep giving water at a lower pH to amend for the high soil pH.
Epsom salt can help as well, as another cause could be that you have too much calcium in your soil, and magnesium (epsom) and calcium keep each other in balance. Higher amounts of calcium ask for a higher amount of magnesium.

What are your temps?
I get yellow tops when it drops below 60 during the day sometimes.
Those pots also look a bit drenched, maybe back off just a little bit with the water? They like their toes to dry out a bit sometimes.
If those are floros you have above the plants they neet to be touching them before you get light damage. You can nestle those things down like a mama hen on eggs.

Okay so adjusted the ph down to 6 using applecider vinegar an gave them a good drench after drying some, its was at a 7+.
Those pots were from outside thats why they have algae on em lol, i let them dry a good bit before watering.
I was told not to use Epsom salt, can i sub it?
Sometimes the temp is around 63 but thats not my fault people fuck with my thermostat.
Its getting worse.

The stress of transplanting + the wrong ph?

You can use epsom as a mag supplament when ur cutting back ur cal in mid flower but u shouldnt really need torite now since there young , id just use some cal mag plus at 150 ppm along with ur regular food n thatd be plenty for now, Prob more a low transpiration causing def then the high ph locking out calmag compounding the problem , , if u can keep ur temps at atleast 75 during lights on n have proper food n ph it should work itself out , ive seen way worse bounce back to killer plants so dont get discouraged ,
