80rh is this bad?

i have a fruiting chamber and using perlite and its currently at 80rh. i tried wrapping syran wrap around the lid but that didnt help any one have any suggestions?

cakes need humidty round the upper 90s casigns need roudn 85 to 90.

You could try running airstones under the perlite, the bubbling action seems to give the humidity a little nudge, the air exchange won't hurt either.

Also, remember that many hygrometers are crap.

I never got mine over 85rh and they fruited fine. They are on there 2cd flush right now and doing very good.

I also have a cheap Humidity guage I got from petco. I would imagine my RH might be higher but the guage is just a piece of shit.

Fruiting occured exactly 7 days after birth. This happened for the first half birthed and the 2cd when they were done.

My temps in my apartment are probably closer to 80 also.

Make sure your humidity gauge works properly.
