It won't work. It's an air purifier and does not put out laminar air. You could maybe make adjustments to get it laminar.

It's also expensive. If you're smart, you can buy the materials to build a LFH for half that price.

Laminar gives you equal velocity through out the total surface of the filter.
Without equal velocity you could create turbulence that would suck contaminates into your work area..

This method is not laminar...
I have used this system and It's cheap and works great for starting out..

You can buy premade fan filter units for that price (laminar flow fan filter units)
