For ms, it still ends up weighing great. I get roughly an oz per quart of oats. Just a bitch to harvest

I confess that i made a 1000cc lc the other day while i was a little drunk, PC'ed it, nocced it up in front of the hood, labeled it and set it aside. In the morning i went in to check on things and it looked super bad and almost like bacteria had completely taken over it in a single night. Some of you know the cloudy look of a bacterial lc. I picked it up to put it on the stir plate and it felt wrong. This is the moment i realized i had added 2% agar instead of malt. I felt like a total moron.

I also confess that i'm having very strong deja vu right now. almost like i already typed this all out and posted it here before. hmmmm

I confess my gf does most of the cleaning of tubs/jars. She doesn’t mind for the most part because she gets to indulge in the fruits of our labor. Today while she was at work I took the liberty of cleaning all my spawn jars, and two agar bottles. Luckily I have wide mouth jars so I can stick my hand in there fully and scrub around with the sponge. Reg mouth jars suck to clean!

Picked up a bottle brush for my agar bottles from Walmart the other day. Only $2 and it comes with a mini brush as well.

Also got myself a new sealing ring for the pc from a local farm store since my pc was leaking a bit. Kind of a weird shape they had it in, but I’m sure it will form to the PC once I use it.

I confess;
I became impatient and anxious after making transfers yesterday.

This piece was split into two, with the fuzziest on the right by the cap, being the biggest.

Didnt see any contams, and I figured I had one more uncracked (third got contaminated), and I couldnt stand throwing all that beautiful myc away...
I wound up using a flamed xacto and cut it into squares, dropping it into a bag of wbs I had waiting around. I didnt want the myco bag'd wbs to dry out. I have a ton of extra supplies so if this goes south I dont mind.
If it works, I have 4qts of bagged spawn ready to bulk.

Yes, yes it is. Ran out of dishes, ordered some, used the 1qt to germ. Worked wonderfully....

I must confess after posting a previous shoebox I'm paranoid that I don't know how to judge my sub hydration levels. Of course other then the trusty fist squeeze. How does it look?

That was the amount of water I used when adding verm as well.
Should be pretty close to field capacity, but you should still squeeze test it.

My new house had carpet in the room I wanted to use for cultivation and I too did not want to vacuum all the time. So I laid down painters plastic on the carpet first and then laid down 1/8in MDF board used for remodel jobs and such, nailed the corners and the doorway and taped the seams so shit couldn't fall in the cracks. Been working great so far no complaints.

Now that some problem solving skills!!!

I used Damion's bucket tek to the T
By 2 hours I mean time invested to boil water, gather materials in bucket, then waiting to do mix 60 mins after pouring water in.
