There was no slavery in Libya before we overthrew their government. It was the most prosperous nation in Africa.

Slavery exists in America as well.  It's called a worker.  They get paid shit, live like shit, and it's not as bad as Africa...unless you have a felony or 1st degree misdemeanors.

The Military is a lot like slavery as well.  People flush out and end up in the gutter all the time.

For someone that wanted to put America first...XUL you sure point the finger.

A lot of corruption in Africa. Its all fucked up.

How to fix it? World allies teaming with their military and taking out the various militias I guess.

I would think a WWII situation where instead of Nazi's its African militia's that are controlling the slave trade.

Africa is corrupt because “world allies” keep establishing military dictatorships who will let those allies pilfer natural resources.

Want me to quote an entire wiki article right here or you want me to google and get that link for you? It's a mineral hence the mining. It contains rare metals used in fancy new electronics. The new airbus is using something like more than 10% of all the tantalum produced from coltan mining for all the years it's manufactured

The entire diamond trade is absurd. The entire industry is based on manufactured/non-inherent value. Unlike gold, which has a true industrial value and is legitimately rare, diamonds only have value as a gemstone. Industrial diamonds are dirt cheap and plentiful.

They support regimes that are willing to sell off national resources to foreign companies. Historically, the military (who rule by force) are a lot more willing to do that than democratically elected governments (who rule by majority support).

It’s not just resources though, it’s geopolitics, it’s strategic trade routes, etc. I mean damn, just google “imperialism” or “colonialism.”

Second of all, yes, every single African nation is “part of” the Paris Climate Accord.

Yeah dude, a millennia of imperialism and colonialism couldn’t possibly affect the African continent.

If only a few hundred thousand poor people moved there, that’d be enough to crumble their entire civilization.

If thats the root cause or perhaps a main cause for Africa's slavery problem, how do you end the imperialism?

qman advocates for survival of the fittest:

qman advocates twice against survival of the fittest:

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25845810#25845810
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25845956#25845956

The Paris Agreement is about greenhouse gas emissions.  I couldn't find anything showing whether or not coltan mining has a truly significant impact on greenhouse gases.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.
