Half-sphere small fungi
    #25841690 -

Hoping to get some info on this strange fungi, found on quartz and some ironstone in virginia in the mound from a fallen tree. Never seen fungi growing without a clear food source, reckon its eating either sulphide, or microorganisms? Very small half-spheres almost perfectly spaced apart.

Thanks guys best luck
