Here is some of the PE6 I've been harvesting. Got GT's in a minimono and those other deli container pucks are some of the RWF9 MS A2G spawned with only coir (a bit over field capacity :/)
Oh ya, and some of those there are late stage aborts or something that remained, but did not continue growing after picking away their friends. There's a part where one is growing off the other.

pic in the right , looks so good how it comes from underneath ...
is your sub straight coco with thin top layer ?
i think someone asked before but i didn't see an answer , your sub looks thiner than average , is this for anything in particular ?
also , you dial in to fruit by flipping the lid right ? ...how do you decide when to flip do you wait till you see first pins or before ?
great work , and beautiful tubs quirk

Pics from some of my tubs, and how I flip the sub upside down to get it out of the tub.

Just coir. Some subs are thinner some are thicker. Idk any specific amounts on any tub. Each one got 4 or 5 mycoquart except 2 got like 7 pints each. I flipped lids on s couple that had puddles on edges develop. I figure that once it's mostly colonized more evaporation is ideal if there's lots of condensation collecting.

i see ; i currently have one that has the same issue , little puddles at the edges as it has no liner ; i thought of giving it more air to dry them out but the surface conditions elsewhere are perfect and i don't want to fuck em up , what do you do ?
i usually do 4 qts per tub , and i see many people do 5 or more with great results , i'm gonna give that a try very soon.

Paper towel to suck up the excess, then flup the lid is my method right meow. I figure it is rainy so releasing the pressure would be like after a storm, mushrooms develop.

All bout clean spawn. Then just hydrate coir and do the mix plus top layer. I used a decent amount and pressed it down pretty firmly actually.

Question about my APEs. Here's a pic at day 15:

The other stuff I spawned on the same day is either starting pinning, or getting close to harvest.
The APES... won't even finish colonizing the surface as far as I can tell. The sides and bottoms are much more colonized.
This looked a little bit over-saturated so I left the lids askew overnight. This dried them out a bit on the surface, so I misted to get it back up and closed (not latched) the lid. Initially there was so much humidity in this shoebox that you can see how wet it would drop onto the coir surface in these pictures... but I was also told APEs like that.
Am I still growing APEs here? This is by-and-far the slowest colonizing I've had, so I'm just making sure this is still going to happen? Any tips/notes?

Surface looks a little wet.. But it looks fine. And yea, apes are SLOW AS FUCK in most cases. Once in awhile someone gets lucky with fast Colonization.

Ok, just checking. I hope drying it out a little doesn't hurt it Evaporation creates pinning yeah? Shouldn't be too wet now.
Ugh, I hate not knowing what to do!

Lol just leave it be π it won't colonize the surface it the coir on top is too damp. That's why that happens. U'll be fine, just let them do their thing. I had bad lunch with apes but I'm about to try again with a clone I took (the 1 Ape I got out of 2 tubs π)

If this don't work I have a pin on agar that I'll be transferring when my move is finished

Yea,they can be pretty slow.Usually 18-24 days to pin for me. These were spawned 22 days before taking this pic.
 Lost the far right box.
But the other 2 continued to fruit for 8 more days.Lid on,bottom water mid flush, light misting when I felt needed.

Sometimes they dont colonize the top layer.
