We are only human. Your id's are usually on point and I had thought about making you one a week ago. Seeing the other TI's chime in and say you need a badge convinced me that I should do it. Doc9151 has been fighting the good fight all by himself. He needs some back up. Enter you.
I've been taking a back seat as the season has me focused on plants. I'll be in here more often as the year progresses and the Australian and New Zealand season kicks off.

I've yet to see someone who doesn't get it wrong once in awhile.
I don't think there was any sarcastic intent, on anyone's part.
I'for one have learned a lot from your posts man.

He had one and gave it back, but pluviophile can't fool us we know he's a T.I. at heart.

You don't think there was any sarcastic intent? You don't know Doctorghosty! Heck, I don't mind, I can take it. If I was half the IDer he is, I'd be happy!

Iβm sorry if Iβm wrong. I misread the spore print and somehow missed the obvious yellow staining in the stipe and went off on a tangent

Seeing as how we just had a full days rain here, should I wait a day and hunt tomorrow or go tonight?

If you wait for perfect conditions you'll be likely to find some, but it's not a great way to find micro-climate patches.
When should you go on a mushroom hunting walk?
Always!!!

youll never find anything if you don't make the time. I hunt while at work too. but my boss doesnt care, and knows what I do. so it works out for me either way.

That's true. I remember when lib season kicked off here, we'd just had a very hot summer, it had hardly rained in months and the fields were parched. It seemed pointless, but I went out anyway and managed to find a few around the shadier places around the edges of the fields. Hardly a spectacular haul, but for me it was worth it just for the delight in finding something.
