My pearl bags made from straw developed some of that, not so creamy but more yellow and transparent, on the bottoms of the bags as i put them outside to fruit recently. I do believe yours is bacteria and mine is enzymes, though I am new to gourmets as well. I think the milky color is bacteria, at least from my experience

i think it’s trying to fruit or something.
It’s almost colonized and I’ve was gifted a bag or oyster once and it had white blobs like this
But this is a wild Phoenix oysters. Super hyped to see it fruit.
I have 5 bags like this.

Thats not good. If it isnt fully colonized or just very recently fully colonized and you have blobbing/pin mass, its stress fruiting due to a compromised substrate. How did you sterilize and inoculate that bad boy? Wood typically requires a consolidation period for the myc to prepare prior to fruiting

Followed lipa tek.
Cup 5 cups of softwood pellets 6 cups of boiling hot water. One gypsum one not.
The one you see here I used a half a cup of gysum.
It doesn’t look moldy at all I’m gonna still fruit it outside. We’ve been having a winter like spring lately.

Yikes that sounds like a clusterfuck of uncertainty to me. I dont typically use wood but I sterilize and pasteurize subs enough to know that you may have only partially sterilized but surpassed pasteurized. I dont even know if there are any beneficial organisms to have been preserved in the first place, i suppose that would depend on your type of wood and where it came from. I would project that it fruits however I don't think it will last.. thats a real ugly yellow you got there

My aa shoebox looks lame kinda. Wierd blob.if it grows cool I may just clone it too

I see you've got nice surface conditions, however there are some wet spots on your pins for that aa+. Being that they're that young, that tells me your misting is up and your evap isn't matching. You been misting?

Give a lil more fresh air. Those blotches come from water on the caps and not evaporating off. Could also be from their initiation. Either way is fixed with more air

Nah not the 'warts' persay, the wet blotches. They're dark spots on the caps, techincally bacterial if you examine their contents under the scope

Those are some nice specimen, what flavor?

I named it shitty clone because it the plate was kinda iffy.
I decided to see what it would do.
It’s mislabeled but it’s either gt or creeper.
