Micro dosing with fetal alcohol syndrome

Hey guys. Per chance would micro dosing help with the inability to think clearly in those with fetal alcohol syndrome? I'm thinking of supplying a friend some shrooms for micro dosing as he has fetal alcohol syndrome and I heard It can help but I just want confirmation first.

It's only microdosing.
I would be weary of him taking any larger dose, but if hes your friend I imagine his functioning isn't all that impaired from the syndrome.
If he's wanting it, I would definitely try to research and talk with him more about the subject.
If this is just your idea, I would drop the subject and not worry about it unless your friend has been genuinely searching for help, in which case like before, lots of discussion and research.

I'm guessing mndfreeze thought the intent was to dose a pregnant woman?

If someone has fas and is functional I don't see why they couldn't experiment, starting super small.

If it's for cognitive growth, I'd recommend trying out various nootropics first or in conjunction. At least with those you can consult a doctor just to be on the safe side. Psilocybin does have research suggesting neurogenesis, but so do other more well-studied substances.

obviously have to take into account how fas effects them physically first, mainly making sure there are no heart or breathing issues. They might be a lot more sensitive to psychoactive substances and more prone to anxiety also.

Does this research state that there's a specific problem due to fetal alcohol syndrome?

I came across this recently, not sure if it was via the shroomery or just in my 'recommended' you tube vids, was certainly not a micro dose.

Yeah I'm not sure really... I keep finding arguments that say different stuff about it. Like I don't think micro dosing is gonn make it worse.. But I'm just a bit worried it could somehow make it worse.

Yeah i asked another friend about it... And got an earful about how there is other stuff in the mushroom that will make it worse. Said friend doesn't know much about chemistry or shrooms so I'm just scrapping what they said and doing my own research.

Yeah I'll keep all you guys up to date with what happens. But it could be another month before I actually have the mushrooms decide to do it so just keep an eye out for the thread.

If he has never done mushrooms then I’d not try it outside of a medical setting. People who are probe to delusions can get seriously wrecked from a bad trip. I have seen people who were normal literally become crazy. I personally know 3 people who really never snapped out of their bad trip which is pretty fucking scary. I’m sure they had other underlining isssues cuz I have had some BAD trips and I thankfully have always returned to normal.

Yeah he's done mushies a couple times they were both high doses and for a couple weeks afterward he had the ability to think clearly. But it only seems to last a few weeks. So he either has to do a high dose every few weeks or try micro dosing.

I came across this, from him, in the comments:
