Agar culture?

As of today I had some pins that broke their veil currently taking a print from 2 caps. I have 7 Petris set up and ready to go in pastyplates. My question is is it even worth isolating the biggest one on agar when it was a very slow colonization to pin time, little pins even popped up, and at one point had a slight sour smell to it ( smells like fresh Mushrooms rn). There are no signs of contam at all at this point. In my opinion the mycelium looks weird as if dry. If you think it’d be a waste I’ll inoculate with ms syringe until I get something better to clone off of the agar. But I’d like someone with experience to give me an opinion before I waste all that time and resources. I’ll upload pics also the big one in the center was what I planned to transfer to agar.
