It doesn't for me.. i have played 7-8 hours before and you can just go like a machine, i get faster and more accurate. I have had trips that hit me so hard though i couldn't function and had to lay down to get my shit together :smile: Those days it gets hard...

Pretty much yeah... The main thing with drumming is to get your mind out of the way and let the music flow and nothing makes the mind flow like acid:)

too much can make things wobbly though.

I know what you mean, LSD has that ability to make your mind flow freely without effort. I get a similar feeling on Shrooms as well but its a different experience.

I wish i got what you guys get out of shrooms... i get stomach pain, anxiety.. a small bit of bliss eventually, and it doesn't last long enough..

Gotta agree with you there icetech, I find mushies to be too short lasting by half, even lsd can be too short duration for me sometimes. Ideally for me an acid trip would last 18-24 hours. I tend to re dose a few times when tripping, so as to extend the trip duration.

I do enjoy the visuals of shrooms, the head space can be too heavy these days and the stomach discomfort too.

I read that harmala alkaloids (syrian rue) extend LSD's duration also.

With mushrooms, the trip lasts ~10 hours when combined with a few grams of syrian rue.

lsd for me lastss bout 6hours + 4-6 come down which i love.. it's plenty.. I don't think i would want shrooms to last longer as they don't make me feel very good usually..

I wish i could have them just be nice everytime:)

Might have to grab some s.rue then.

Mushies normally last 4-6hours for me and acid is in the 8-10 hour range, sometimes I get the full 12 if I'm lucky and dose high.

I tend to enjoy dosing mid range 100-200ug as I normally trip on a night when the family is sleeping. I do enjoy higher doses but have to wait for the wife and kids to go away for a weekend, and this year it obviously hasn't happened.

If I could enjoy the mushroom visuals for 10+hours with out the body load, dodgy guts and overly heavy headspace, I would love them. I used to love em back in my teens and early twenties, but now I prefer the gentleness of acid. I can function semi normally and be quite social and eloquent on L, not so much with fungus.

The nausea I experience from mushrooms is significantly reduced when I brew tea. The only problem there is that the trip from tea doesn't tend to last as long as the trip from eating whole mushrooms.

Even without the gastro issues, I find the mind fuck a bit much these days. I can control the thought loops and head space kinda on L, on mushies im a complete passenger, with no control of trip direction.

Herbie, the best description of shrooms/acid i was ever told was

on LSD you drive a rocket...

On Shrooms you are strapped to a rocket.. no control.

I found that to be about as accurate as you can get :smile:

Ive found with enough experience with shrooms, you do learn to "control" your thoughts more. Depends on the dose and context of the trip but you can learn to guide the trip more.

That sucks you cant have a nice experience with Mushrooms but I know some people's brains are more in-tuned with the LSD crystal :lsd:
