Lemon tek'ed 2.5 grams.  Had a difficult time of it.  Up practically all night (fell asleep around 3:00am - 6:30am) so feeling washed out now.  There were some minutes of visions and geometric patterning behind closed eyes, but it seemed to me the vast majority of the trip was spent focused on negative / dark thoughts.

Probably not a good idea to watch "Halloween" (the newest one) and GoT episodes on HBO before tripping.  My bad.  :mad2:

My mindset was not the best.  Setting was my usual.  Clean house, freshly laundered pajamas and bed linen, and silent darkness.

Shouldn't have watched so much violent TV beforehand, though.  Rookie mistake.  :facepalm:

Maybe the lemon tek contributed as well. Probably not though. I'm sorry you didn't get what you wanted. I hope it was what you needed, though. Do you think mushrooms always give you what you need? Or your trip didn't help you in any way?

Maybe it WAS what I needed, but the major reason I prefer DMT over all the other psychedelics is that it leaves my life's issues OUT of the experience.  For me, DMT is pure visual artistry of the highest order, leaving my mind in a clear, unaltered state to merely observe and wonder how the hell it does that.  The occasional fear aside (hardly ever happens because I dose sensibly and not too often) there's never a discomfort of body, mind or soul. 

Frankly, working on my emotional self is NOT why I take psychedelics.  Not that I wouldn't benefit from it, I just don't want to be involuntarily obligated to beat myself up for four hours straight over things I've thought, said and done.  I do that more than enough when sober.  I know that is ego protection in the nth degree, but at this point in my life I'm not willing or able to change, and that is why I wanted to be left alone and protected from those thoughts, and had a bad time when they forced themselves upon me.

I hear you on that. Lsd and mushrooms always make me feel guilty one way or another and tell me I need to be beyyer. Sometimes I take it more to heart than other times but I can certainly see where it could control the trip and make it unpleasant. DMT and oral dmt just cuts right to the visions.

had a ok saturday, i didn't really feel the shrooms after the acid :frown: at least that i noticed...

Yesterday i went for a bike ride in a state park, had a ton of fun, tried to ride down 4 flights of wet stairs.. faceplant. My body hurts today, but was fun:) Shit hurts more as we get older :smile:

Morning guys... Weed hangover.. (grew some durban poison and fuck.. it is insanely strong but leaves me fucked for like 12 hours) back hurts from my bike rides.. old age sucks:)

Working 8:30am to 5pm today. Going to run to the fire hall and get a burn permit some point this afternoon. May have a fire tonight behind the house. If not then may  go to bed early lol

I was up at half 4 this morning idk why:shrug: I've done the parkrun and a bit of shopping, so that's me doing fuck all for the rest of the day.

No shroomz tonight, probably hang about here, see what the craic is. An early night sounds very appealing sonic, I might join you, not literally though.

Going to Red Rocks this eve, catching Moe and Mike Gordon. Red Rocks pretty much in my backyard. Beautiful day for tailgating and certainly will have my pockets full of shrooms and  acid. Just saw Phil and Terrapin Family band on Wednesday there. So much great music at Red Rocks.

Had some cactus and acid last night, and some shrooms + weed today. Still glowing a bit.
Might smoke some more weed later and go out in a park with a few buddys.
