UPDATE:

two nights ago I played an open mic and I did a great job, IMO.
I played a funky piano melody and then played drums over it, then finished every one off with some tricky rap drum beats.
After I finished I felt like I just obliterated the entire venue, felt very powerful.
I only knew one person at the open mic, the organizer.
Ended up meeting some new people and this one cute, sexy girl. 
Long story short I ask this cute girl for her number in front of people and she says she's too old for me.  Says she's 40.  I'll be 28 in a couple weeks.
Anyways she doesn't give me her number, but she does mysteriously ask me for my Facebook... so I give it.
I start leaving the venue and notice she happens to be leaving right while I'm leaving... very interesting.

Then she invites me to see a couple shows she's going to and I say sure.
After the shows we get in my car and I make a move to kiss her and it goes well.
She ends up moving onto my lap while I'm in the driver seat and that is hard to do because my car is really low, so I know this girl is a trooper.
