need some help again
    #2582584 - 04/20/04 12:00 PM (19 years, 11 months ago)

damnit...Im pretty sure I messed up my birdseed yesterday b/c I have no pressure cooker and Ill never be able to get one,so I was wondering if maybe I could just sterolize some compost that Ive got,out it in a jar, innoculate, and would it colonize?
I know you guys get posts like this all the time and Im sorry but I just am totally bummed to the fact that I was so excited yesterday when I got my spores and now Ive just got a little spore solution left and Im bummed out...
Any help would be nice.
P.S.-Im out of money, and all Ive got is spores, jars, the basic shit and some compost.
Thanks,
Peace,
PF~

Boil your WBS jars in a closed pot with about 2-3" of water for 1 hour 3 days in a row. Works for me! YOu cnat grow on normal compost. it needs to be composted manure or straw.

Nope, but some people do. I dont see why it might make a more well-rounded diet? I know i grew on sunflower alone and it worked fine, not as good as millet but it worked.
