Grow supplies for a beginner ?
    #2582742 - 04/20/04 02:32 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

Im planning on growing some mushies. I wanna buy a Myco Environment Bag,Grain Based. I was wondering what spores would be the best for a grain based kit and they have to be easy to grow, potent too,

Also I was wondering is there a good step by step thread for a begginer to grow, grow bags? Also, i have a sterile aqarium and a aqarium heater, and im gonna keepit all in a big sterile rubbermaid tub.do you guys think this will be an adequat setup tp grow mushies. thanks

You don't need the aquarium AND the rubbermaid to fruit... hell, you can fruit 'em in the bags.

I like that logic NoG

Of course with 1774 posts... I bet more than 30 of them were completely full of shit.

Yes, you can fruit in bags. They work well. Just cut the top when it is time to harvest... then spray/mist the inside of the bag (a smart person could dunk in the bag) and close woth paperclips... until the next flush. They work well.

The one on the right became a monster the cap was six inches wide... HUGE print.

Yes you can... it is called invitro growing. Search for invitro. The best strain for growing invitro is Mexicana A. Instead of mushrooms, it produces underground fungus called sclerotia... like roots, or potatoes... they feel and taste like nuts. They are very easy to cultivate. You may want to use the search function for Mexicana A as well.
