Pe casing layer

So I got a tub of penis envy going and it's looking great with nice white webbing going through almost all of the bottom and the top is a bit shy. I am wondering if I am going to need to case it for an optimum output for long-term self use. If I don't case what will be my yield deficiency and is it really worth it to case pe. I've read many statements supporting it but it's my first grow and I guess I pasterization the coir right but don't wanna fuck it up on my second go. Is it ok to use 1/3 of my spawn ammount to case and is it even worth it. I don't know when to fill my holes with poly and I may have pit the up a but too much. What are my options I really want a optimum yield as my first grow ✊
