I don't get closed eyed visuals from Psychedelics, but i do a bit from Cannabis, as far as open eyed visuals, i get them from Psychedelics, but not from Cannabis except some mild tracers which does come from the Cannabis. Also, if you think Psychedelics are about visuals, you have no clue lol.


I know what's its about. I've been growing mushrooms for years and eaten tons of lsd. I still say weed is not a psychedelic drug.

Cannabis, like Psychedelics, is what you make of it, how you use it, how much you use, and various other factors, sure you can get higher than a mf by smoking it any time, any where, but it has multiple uses and different effects and headspaces depending on the various factors.

It brain has cannabinoid receptors. That's what weed affects. Psychedelics DO NOT affect ur cannabinoid receptors. They just don't affect the same recepors in ur brain. Just because it affects dopamine doesn't make something psychedelic. But u guys have fun tripping on weed. I'm done. Y'all are talking like a bunch of teenagers.

Lol, clearly you completely ignored my Cannabinoid, receptor, and terpene science. I've done my research bro, you'd know this if you actually looked into things. You really think THC only activates the CB1 receptor and that's it? Have you never heard of receptor complexes aka heteromers? That pretty much means that if one receptor site is activated, that receptor site cross-talks/communicates with/activates or reduces (depending) other receptor sites/systems. The CB1 receptor shares a complex with the Dopamine 2 receptor, the Serotonin 2A Psychedelic agonist receptor, Adenosine A2A receptor, Metabotropic Glutamate 5 receptor, and those receptor sites further activate other receptor sites. So if you'd be the one to do a bit of research, you'd see how THC would be able to activate other receptor sites, modulate Dopamine, Serotonin, Noradrenaline, GABA, Glutamate, etc, in various part of the brain, not just through the CB1 receptor but also the cross-talk between the CB1 receptor and other receptor sites.

Add to that fact, the fact that terpenes also activate different receptor sites and modulate neurochemistry, hence why Cannabis is not just THC and why the terpenes are necessary and how the affect the THC from strain to strain.

I think we get a bit too offtopic now, don't we?

If one searches for "weed as psychedelic" here on the forums or google, the consens is that it's seen as a mild psychedelic by most users, and some users don't see the similarities.

So why not just agree to disagree and have a nice day. :sun:

The OP asked when we peak on weed. Answers are individual. Any drug has a peak in it's effects. It has nothing to do with psychedelics in general, or if weed is a psychedelic or not.

I heard a man once say he can barely telll any psych apart so I assume he’s in that general class of people anyhow
