It ain’t lazy. He worked for that money.
That and who the fuck wouldn't want to take a little time off if given the opportunity and fortunate enough to be able to afford it?
When the day comes for me to quit/get fired/switch jobs, I will most definitely be planning some time off. Likely to do some crazy long thru hike or maybe a looooooooong ass bike ride through South America. Something that involves the outdoors and very few people.

They also let people park at the back end of the parking lots of wal-marts free and no hassle.
walmarts close at midnight & cops drive around kicking you off the property.
Happen to me at a shared lot of walmart & planet fitness in denver @ 4a.m.

When I drove across the USA from coast to coast, I learned that you can sleep in your vehicle at any interstate roadway overnight. As long as you don't park for more than 24 hours.
Maybe that's changed in the last few years, but most people park at least overnight and van camp at rest areas all the time.

I talked to some people who even went from one rest area to the next, then back and forth 15 miles for like 3 weeks straight.

Anyone from Washington state? Thinking about moving to Washington. Seems expensive over there. Which means I could work for high wages like 40 an hour, and not high pay rent, which is the killer of income. Ill just make friends with a shroomerite wholl let me use their address if needed. Im super responsible about this.
Looks like Washington has the views and national park easy access that I want. I never knew how dank it is until yesterday.

The coast of Oregon and Washington are very dope. Except the part about how it rains for 5 months straight. every year.

My sources tell me, you're telling the truth. Trees, you are the father of baby Taquandia.

I was literally just looking at plane tickets to Alaska, buts it's frozen there till May or June. But Lake Clark national park is on my to do list. Fly to Anchorage. Then fly by tiny plane to one of the remote settlements. Then hike out alone in solitude 150 miles back to Anchorage. And then back home.
you would be pretty insane to do this solo ud also need a serious amount of expencive gear and experience and well as prob get resupplied atleast once.

Cover 10 - 15 miles a day. Ration 1.5 lbs of dense dry food per day. A proper tent, sleeping bag, fire making tools, a kettle for boiling water for tea, proper boots n'at

Unions are always looking for welders Look for a fab shop or a guy who needs a farm hand for repairs Not sure what coast youre from west coast has alot of spots to go but best think i do is go on airbnb and find an old cabin or tipi and rent it out for the weekend Or look on national forest website and find local places By law youre only allowed to camp there for 14 days though

I moved out to California for the same reasons and more a few years ago, except I pay a lot to live in a house. It was the best thing I ever did. I can't even imagine living on the East Coast again.
Seattle seems really nice. You gotta love dreary weather though. I hear its mostly cold and rainy over there.

The best thing about the west coast is that it's gorgeous.
But it's also the first to be struck by that asshoel russians on the red handle with the nukes.

As a permanent way of life? Maybe a little. But this sounds more like a temporary experience/experiment.
How about those PCT or AT thru hikers? His description sounds like their average run of the mill day.
So many people want to do this but can’t due to kids, family, mortgage, job, lack of capital etc. It doesn’t sound like Trees has any of these hinderances. I say fucking do it while you can.

It would probably never happen, but it would be a total blast to do the PCT with a bunch of shroomerites. My oh my, what an adventure that would be!

Hiking the AT is like a totally dif story that hiking back to Anchorage from "some remote settlement" LOL. Most ppl that hike the AT doing 15+ miles a day are hiking super ultra light and resupply like almost every time they cross a road which is like almost everyday. To say ur gonna do 150 miles in the Alaskan backcountry solo with like a full pack with saying ur gonna do it in like 10ish days on a 1.5lb of food a day is so insane it's stupid. maybe down a river in a canoe even then your taking ur life in ur hands. I never read the book but didnt that into the wild guy die like a fucking retard in the end? I hope he found himself or whatever dumbshit he was doing tho. Anyway I'm not saying dont do anything I'm just simply saying maybe dont do something so remote and extreme.

Sorry overlooked the part about this being in the Alaskan backcountry.
Agreed. That’s insane.

Yo there's lots of variables that you probably don't consider. During the winter it might be insane. During the summer, much less so. People actually do, do it. Idk how much research you've done on the subject, I've done decent ammount, and I've also been to Alaska before. Watched several docs on the challenge n such. I'm not like that kid who died in a bus 10 miles from the highway because he was stubborn
