Some nice close-up mycoporn.
But,if you look at the whole picture,I may have something going on here.
I haven't misted it til today, and it was a bit dry in places,so I hope it's just uneven pinning, but I'm gonna be keeping my eye on this.

To spawn or not to spawn? Its a bit questionable
Very dense with some wet spots, kinda minor. Was busy past few days and it has been colonized for quite a few days. Not sure if its got hidden contams or what not

Beautiful fruits! Well done. You obviously gave them the conditions they needed.

Some will say there is... I personally have had fruit I couldn't bruise on purpose knock my dick in the dirt, and dark blue fruit from looking at them wrong come out "aight" lol

Haven't grown this variety yet. Going to run some monotubs with it, probably not until April by the time I get through what's going on right now.
Fairly common growth pattern for newly transferred MS cultures IME: still very cool looking... this one was REALLY defined:

Those look that way because you didn't lay the wedge face down. It was layed on its side.

Yeah, but I've got clone cultures that don't do it, regardless of how you lay the wedge... I like laying them all different ways: on their back usually gets all spikey before finding the plate and leaping off

Well that's why there's lateral growth on one half and rhizo growth on the other half. Face up or face down usually prevents that.
Usually.

Pretty neat... all my pe6 ms plates did it initially... maybe i was transfering differently: were some of my first cultures... never effected their fruiting

You are right though I think. I have a PE culture that seems to do it no matter how I place it down. For a while I thought maybe I just kept screwing up the placement. But after seeing you say you have a culture that seems to do it regardless. Maybe I'm not messing up the placement
Foxy. Actually seems to do that to me. I'd tell myself...ok now place it down correctly this time. And I thought I did. But still got the same expression from the culture. Been kinds curious about it myself. Like I say I thought I just kept messing up the placement. Lost track of what side was which on the wedge.

Face up when it lands the way I had intended. Hate it when they flip on the way down. Still grows but I always feel like I fucked it up when it flips face down.
