 I don't think this is what Im intending to grow, help.

So, I've got pf tek style jars and inoculated with lions mane. Mycelium shot around everything and now these guys are starting to pop out. I feel like this isn't lions mane. Any help is welcome.

Yeah, that's definitely an oyster variety. I would contact the vendor they probably got mixed up.

That's kind of what I thought. Threw me for a loop seeing those. Do you think I'd be safe eating them without know what they are specifically?

they look definitely like oysters..give them some fresh air and let them grow big cap and you will be sure if they are oysters or not ..they seems to be deprived of fresh air..

Yeah, they probably are. The last two days I've only gotten down there once or twice a day. If they are oysters, how long do I let them grow before harvesting?

you can reap them before the caps flattens..

They are definitely oyster mushrooms and very tasty
