However, a spirit possession typically changes the personality of the person. They get more withdrawn, acting strange, easily angered, flip out over tiny things, very moody, depression, dark thoughts like suicide, sometimes they hear voices speak to them and tell them to do violent things, bizarre stuff.

Its often confused with mental illness but its actually something paranormal. Its a spirit possession, by a "evil" spirit that wants control of a person's body and mind. Ive had brief personal experiences with it, its very strange and unnerving. It kinda feels like an invisible force is trying to hijack your consciousness.

So , since I made this post I have remembered thousands of dreams... And none are as nightmarish as the first OP.

Nothing could top that one really I don't think.

But your experiences with spiritual possession might require more investigation.

Have you had any recent re-occurrences, LogicaL Chaos?

I think that's what nightmares are good for.

my dreams are normally pretty chill - usually i'm having adventures, often helping people, or giving advice, or just having fun. one dream i had a few nights ago was... strange though. i was in a grocery store, ringing up groceries. (blegh, i hate being a cashier dreams.) granted, this grocery store was not your mundane grocery store... the conveyer belts were kind of big and curved and the whole store looked kind of like something out of a fantasy, lol, so it wasn't quite as bad as it couldve been, and everyone was pretty cheerful.

what made it kind of freakish though was... at one point, i was bagging groceries, and i looked at my left arm (im left handed), and the inside of my elbow looked like it had open sores leaking pus and was infested with what looked like large earthworms or some sort of giant parasitic worms eating at it. and i was still bagging like this was ok.

i have no idea what the dream was trying to tell me, since i don't do needles or anything. D: that was definitely NOT a normal dream for me.

it's the fear of contaminating someone. It's pretty prevalent at this moment in time.

I wouldn't think to much about it unless it really starts to bug you, I'd consider a new career.

YOU are the only who who knows what the dream was trying to tell you, and what you described was only a fraction of what it was like in that "dream state" .

What you experienced was real, and a part of you, so take a closer look, and let us know what you find out about it(the dream).

maybe... that is a possibility i haven't thought of. i do try to take all precautions, including wearing my mask at all times above the nose when in the store, social distancing, and taking melatonin/vitamin C/D/zinc, and getting plenty of rest to keep my immune system up. so i figure it's really not much else i can do on my end.

i had thought it had something more to do with the fact my left side sometimes hurts when my right side doesnt, usually tension/TMJ/neck pain, and maybe my mind was trying to tell me something about it, but the idea of covid worries was a possibility i hadn't thought of, especially since it was in a work environment.
