So I just wanted to get people's opions and stuff... so what would you go with? Which do you think has the better pros to it. I'm wanting to grow variety one day and would want to choose the best set up for that.

Martha sucks for cubes unless you get it dialed in right, which I have yet to do. Cubes to great in tubs. I think the Martha can work, but it’s a lot of work to get it there.

Monotub/Shoebox for cubes. People normally grow exotics in Martha’s.

Shoeboxes have to be the easiest way to start. You literally have to do nothing. The 2 most important things I learned are:
1. Use clean and healthy spawn 2. Make substrate at correct field capacity
If you do the above, you are golden. Just sit back and wait.
Marthas are good, but take a lot more configuring and adjustments. Also cost a lot more to get it it started. A shoebox is $1

100% agree... but aside from the $$... which in total is like $100 for the Martha, humidifier etc... the shoeboxes are best for cubes. Don’t be scared. Just start and try it. Martha is a fun project, but at the end of the day, you get more out of a plastic container... that happens to cost $1.

If you are growing cubes, like the others have said, don't waste your time with a martha. I have one for other species and I am always dicking around with it. It is in no way automated even with temp/humidity controllers.
For cubes I use shoeboxes.
