Laccate Ganoderma is the best I can do,  maybe something like G. Sessile. I'm am far from being a Ganoderma expert, much less South American species.

Thanks guys... i think more of a definite ID would take some microscopy?

all laccate ganoderma have similar medicinal properties right? i did some research and it seems that way but i didn't find any definitive papers on that.

haven't found any good source for identification morphology either, all papers cite DNA analysis.

my sample didn't print but goddamn look at this mycelial development from being left overnight to print(about 10 hours):

this just might have to get cloned.

Similar in structure and color to Ganoderma martinicense, though much more disorganized than what I am accustomed to in that species. Was it found in Northern South America? Near the Caribbean perhaps?

Ganoderma tend to leave poor spore prints. The print would not be helpful anyway unless you intend to do microscopy. Ganoderma spores germinate poorly, though the fresher the better. The color of Ganoderma spores is consistent across species.
