I don't think it would work. LC is too thick to make it through the filter. I have trouble just getting it through a 16 1/2 gauge needle sometimes.

No problems with pics here.
Clone culture vs spore culture. Disasters are usually where I learn a lot.
These are the dishes I used for this round. Picked the best looking dish from each example. The rhizomorphic dishes are from cloning. The tomentose dishes are from a spore print. Both on the same batch of Agar, both on the same batch of grain.
The rhizomorphic culture was kept out of the fridge to catch up and was larger than shown here when put on the grain. The tomentose plate came straight out of the fridge.
Yes the grain was too wet, and as well the room heated up past 90F, it's been very hot here. Apart from fucking up the conditions, I found it obvious the tomentose jars colonised faster and handled the shitty conditions much better than the rhizomorphic jars.
 Rhizomorphic jars Tomentose jars
The tomentose jars are now in shoeboxes, the rhizo jars are now in the garden.
Was the Rhizomorphic mycelium weaker to start with? Did it have anything or nothing to do with cloning? I'd be interested to hear what others think.

They're definitely bacterial... you might get away with spawning them to slightly under field capacity coir only and hydrating if needed after full colonization... I'd start something fresh just in case these don't make it

fuck i was gonna use these for g2g....not now
the only thing i can think of is to up my pc time, i was positive my sterile technique was good bc none of my agar plates have gotten any contams.
from my understanding baccillus can survive the pc if you dont cook it long enough, is this correct ?

Hey guys, I'm not too worried as I'm in the learning process, is this cobweb? Not going to use it, as my agar is too watery and I still need to fine tune, just wondering so I can document it.

Yeppers thats some kind of pin mold. You can tell by the black fruiting structures on the tips of the myc.

IMO, you may want to try 3 hour runs. I always go 3 hours now @15psi on my runs and seen night at day improvement with this issue with oats. Never had a problem with straight white millet at 90. If you can safely get up to 21 psi; 90 should be sufficient from what I have gathered. -edit- Also vent for 10 minutes so you don't have any air pockets.

Damn... I think I'm going to up my PC time.
Should I worry about bursting too many grains for PCing longer (oats)?
My shit has been more contaminated than I'd like lately.

I run my two one pint white millet masters for g2g and never had em burst anymore than normal, I had the same concern when I upped my time but they came out just fine.
I also added a link about venting your pc above.

How long did you sterilize? It's suggested to go 2 hours, after letting it vent steam for 10 minutes and building pressure once the rocker is in place... id suspect your grain was too wet and has exacerbated the issue quite significantly... you might get lucky fruiting it, but subsequent G2G jars would likely stall out IMO

Not sure who you're asking Caps, but my process looks like this:
- Bring up pressure to vent
- Vent for 10 min
- Bring up to 15psi
- Set timer 2 hours
- Regularly ensure that pressure doesn't drop too low (sometimes happens when balancing the temp)
- Depressurize (often sleep too)
I usually do about 10pt jars or 5qt jars. Seeming good?

Lol, the guy I quoted
Process looks sound to me... longer cook time (within reason) couldn't hurt though ... 2 hours, @15psi, after a 10 minute steam vent is all I do for 10qt batches of oats
