I didn't really like the way the last ¼ of 2018 went for me and I felt that I was in a bit of a funk. I decided to pick up a book titled "Unfuck Yourself" after hearing a friend praise it. I've never been a fan of self-help books but this one really seemed to pull me out of my funk. I now have a newfound respect for these types of books.
So it got me thinking, maybe I should give one a chance regarding the subject of addiction. I'm sure some of ya'll have read a few of these. Any recommendations on which one I should pick up? The drug I'm trying to quit is cocaine. I bet I did it 60-70 times in 2018. And so far I've done it 3 times in 2019. I don't want to do it at all anymore

You might want to consider at some point you are beyond self help books and seek professional help. There are programs out there that work if you want them too. You can find a way out and a way to happiness that isn't based around a drug fueled lifestyle. I'd also highly suggest some form of therapy. More people should go this route as I think its highly underrated on how much it can help someone, even someone without major life crisis though addiction definitely qualifies as one.
Good luck, you are loved. Love yourself and keep at it.

You could try "Recovery" by Russell Brand
It really comes down to a sincere desire to stop, which came for me once I admitted to myself that I had a problem.
3 years sober from alcohol, 2 years cocaine.

Russel Brand's book is pretty good. It's heavily based on the 12 steps and is available in audio book.

Yeah, I've been enjoying Recovery a lot. What is really cool about it is that Brand goes over how any addiction is worth looking into and getting control of. If you can't comfortably take time away from any sort of sensory input, then you are addicted to it. In my opinion, I feel that what makes hard drugs so easy to become addicted to and so hard to quit is because of how much they change the chemistry of your brain. Coke messes with your dopamine levels, and if you do it frequently, then your body will stop trying to produce dopamine on its own because it now has this external source in which it is deriving it from.
Besides just trying to find good literature on addiction, my suggestion would be to seek out a group of people that are currently working on bettering themselves through natural means. Say, for instance, you join a specialized exercise club, like a MMA gym or a yoga studio. There you would be able to get recreational exercise, which would help to restore your body's natural hormone levels and fill you up with natural feel good drugs. You would also be able to connect with others who perhaps have had to deal with similar issues and are currently working to overcome them.
So, whatever you do to break this habit, just remember that it won't be easy or very comfortable. But it will be worth it, to no longer feel so chained down to this material world.
Another book I would recommend is The Divine Romance, by Yogananda.
