Tips on Avoiding Cops at Night 3

Cops are sneaky and many pull-over situations happen at night.
Heres some general tips on how to detect a cop driving at night to avoid getting pulled over.
1) Cops typically drive new cars. Which means their cars typically have bright, whitish-colored LED headlights.
2) Cops drive the speed limit typically.
3) Look for the light bar on top of the car. If u look directly at the roof of the car, u can typically see them.
4) Cops tend to tail-gate your car if they are driving behind you. Check for the light rack and new bright white LED headlights to confirm its a cop.
5) Cops usually are driving alone with no one around, going solo.
6) Cops sometimes hide in dark areas with their cars off. Look for any suspicious cars hanging out in dark areas off the road.
7) Most cop cars Ive seen are dark black or dark blue in color, making them very difficult to spot at night. However, some Ive seen are white which actually gives people an advantage, but they are pretty rare.
8) Then theres the rare "stealthy" cop car. They are typically black, typically an SUV, theres no "Police" markings on the side, and they do not have a light bar on top their vehicle (only tiny lights in their grill). During the day, you can see a black metal fence barrier inside the vehicle (to seperate cop from criminal). They remind me of black FBI vehicles. These types of cop cars are basically impossible to spot at night so if u see a black SUV at night, assume its a stealthy cop car.

Some of these are obvious. Look for the light bar on top of the car? Who doesn't already know to do that?

Just know what make and models your local department use and memorize the headlights and tail lights. From the side their reflectors will shine light back at you. The cops here don’t give a fuck about speed limits for themselves, they’re on average 10-15mph over me and I’m always 5 over the limit.
As stated, just make sure to be legal and then it “shouldn’t” matter if you get pulled unless he goes ahead and tries to fuck you but that’s a topic for another thread..
A good sister thread might be how to conduct yourself if pulled, but lawyers have posted that ad nauseam on youtube so maybe a condensed best pointers quick list..

With that much paranoia, you're better off riding a bike, with a helmet, high visibility vest and a big red flag.
Or you could drive the speed limit, make sure your car is registered, has insurance and you are not drunk or high.

Don't ever carry drugs in your car and always drive sober. That way if you get pulled over the worst that can happen is a ticket.
Never drive with your visors down at night, cops look for that.
Also don't act suspiciously if you do encounter a cop. Like, don't suddenly start going under the speed limit trying to keep the cop in another lane in front of you, and don't suddenly dart into a parking lot or make a fast turn to get away from them, etc.
Just act completely normal, maybe even do 5 over the speed limit, and don't pay any attention to the cop at all. Just do whatever you were going to do as naturally and normally as possible.

Good advice. Its definitely important to not draw attention to yourself. They look for anything suspicious and even the smallest thing could make them starting stalking you.

Why do cops look for visors being down at night?

Waze app...
I don't know if any of you are old enough to remember the days when you would flash your headlights at the opposite going traffic direction to signal there is a cop up the the road, well it's crowed sourced by everyone using the app giving you fairly accurate information on police locations day or night amongst other things. I literally turn on the app and use it without driving directions just to give me a heads up on police locations since I have a habit of driving fast.

Get or make small magnetic gps devices that won't be detected or found. Put them on as many cop cars as possible. don't tell anyone. Make an app that gives you real time locations of all police vehicles in your vicinity. Sell this to organized crime mobsters.

Why do cops look for visors being down at night?
Because they think it's something that drug users do, or that regular people don't do. Why do cops believe any of the myths they believe about drugs? This is just another one.

Great idea! If only we could do it without getting caught......
Alternatively, could get a police scanner but hide it well in your car in case u get pulled over.
And yeah, a visor down at night looks suspicious (cause its night time, u dont need a visor). Anything even slightly suspicious is bait for cops.

Edit: and when the cop asks “you know why I pulled you over” say you have no idea. Never admit you’re guilty
