How much seeds in one gram Syrian Rue ?

Hello.
I've read many forum they say 3 gr syrian rue is enough for beginning. I havent got  Precision scales .
So how i can split 3 gram in 20 gr rue ?

Dividing into 8 parts is easyly done by eye. 20g divided by 8 is 2.5g

Separate into two halves, then one half into two halves again, then again into two halves. That's an 8th.

Then add a bit extra to one part. You might get ~3g this way.



Buy a scale. It's 15 bucks and a mouseclick away.

What do you want to use the rue for? "For a beginning"..? Begin what? Rue is psychoactive on it's own in high doses.
3g might be too little to feel it, but it's enough to activate oral dmt and more than enough to potentiate shrooms x2.

Rue isn't euphoric in my experiece.

You might get slight tracers from that dose.

I never dosed rue this high on it's own though. I tried 50mg of harmala alkaloids on it's own (roughly 1.5g of rue) and did not get any noticable effects. Others might chime in and share their experiences.


You should boil the rue in hot water for two hours, then strain well and reduce the water down to a cup worth and drink. Less nausea.
Rue seeds swallowed on it's own are nauseating and not well digestible.

Hmmm, I’ve always put them in a coffee grinder and then toss and wash the powder. No wonder I nearly always vomit. I always blamed it on the acacia brew.

Check the link in my signature for the extraction of pure harmala alkaloids.
You only need cooking vinegar, washing soda (sodium carbonate) and tablesalt to create shiny golden harmala HCl crystals.

With pure harmala alkaloids there is absolutely no nausea.
When doing aya/pharmahuasca I dissolve my pure dmt is a shotglass with warm water and vinegar and drink it this way, roughly half an hour after I dosed my extracted harmalas in a small capsule.
No nausea at all. :thumbup:

Don't try it if you take medication or other drugs. Anti depressants or anti psychotics, as well as speed, ritalin/methylphenidate, or mdma combined with syrian rue can kill you!
Make sure to be sober! :smile:

If you don't feel much after an hour or two, you can redose the same ammount. Then you should feel it strong and get an idea if it's a drug for you or not.
Some ayahuasca brews only contain harmala alkaloids like syrian rue, and no dmt at all. So those harmalas are psychoactive on it's own, in a high dose, for sure.

You can swallow them raw, without grinding. But this leads to nausea.

Better boil the whole seeds for an hour or two, then strain and drink. This leads to less nausea. But it tastes bad.

If you happen to have some Lemon Balm leaf around, 3 to 4 grams of it goes great with the Rue, Rue on it's own kinda sucks, but the Lemon Balm really cleans up how the Rue feels. Not particularly euphoric or anything but there are some benefits to the Rue/Harmalas, but personally i'd either recommend Cannabis or DMT with it, or mushrooms.

Whole seeds don't absorb well consumed orally, you want the seed powder for consuming orally, otherwise, stick to tea, or extracts.

As for nausea, i've tried many things to block out nausea, Cannabis helps, Lemon EO seems to help, using Rue/Harmala freebased extract over the Rue seed seems to help, maybe even roasted the Rue seed before grinding to a powder may help with nausea.

you posted ~20 mins ago ... should be working fully by now or in the next 10 mins.

I've never noticed much from a 3 gram dose, but 100 gram dose of extracted caapi vine alkaloids is pretty weird.

Just be sure to stick to the MAOI diet for a good day. Eating the wrong thing can make you feel really bad.
