possible to case pf jars without even removing them from the jars? just cover up the glass w/ some dark tape or something and water the verm on top?

Why the hell would you want to do that?  It wouldn't increase your yields any.

That's like those people (like my mom) who hang their bananas up to try and keep them ripe for longer.  I mean, what is their logic?  That they're going to trick the bananas into thinking that they're still on the tree? :nonono:

Works pretty well for me, but you decide for yourself. Really convenient way to get great results every time. Harverst - dunk - recase - harvest....

on the bannana issue, they will stay ripe longer if you seperate them all, and place them in fresh air at least a foot or so away from each other. This is because bannanas give off a ripening hormone called....ethylene(maybe?..something like that). well anyways, thats why bananas grow in bunches, so they ripen faster.

Im working on doing this exact same thing man.It looks like it worked very nice for you.I usually spawn my jars,but those look very cool.I have to try that :grin:

What Kind of casing layer is that? I always have problems with my cakes getting soggy sitting over the perlite evenafter I putt a rack in,
looks like a good solution to keep a grow chamber clean
