Its just that its the exact same thing as that presto but the metal is thicker and the handles are fancier. Performs the exact same function/capacity only for 200 extra dollars.
The only reason you'd want thicker metal is if you boil your cooker dry regularly you might warp a presto. But even in that case, you could replace the presto twice and still be saving money compared to AA's. Or just learn to put more water in the PC so that doesn't ever happen. If you put plenty of water in your PC an AA is purely a cosmetic upgrade, not to mention being a good bit heavier.
Bought one myself and regret it big time.

not too shabby, I think I got mine for 50 a while back but thats a pretty rare price this days. I've still seen it go about that low on rare occasion but yeah, 70's good.

Prestos need the gasket to be replaced/maintained. But it's easy to do.
AAs are built to withstand the apocalypse. I've only used prestos for food prep and it doesn't thrill me the way an AA does.
Imo it's worth it

haha, it does feel cool I won't lie.
And for AA's you can get that upgrade to make it run silently and get to 20 psi, I definitely like a silent cooker. Although maybe you could do that to a presto too, don't see why not.

Tape a quarter to the rocker and adjust the heat to maintain desired psi... though I like hearing it; helps me remember it lol

I got 1 quarter and 1 nickle taped to each side of my AA rocker. Stays at 18-20psi. Silent like pedophilia outrage and the church.

I remember bodhi mentioning that, didn't realize it also quieted things down, thanks.
Only reason I've never done it is it seems like the tape would become a hot smelly melted mess but I guess thats not an issue.
Thats easier than buying a special part to be sure  thanks again
