His last post was 10 Dec, and that's also when he was "last seen" on the shroomery (when he last checked in).

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

I guess many of us share that sentiment. I take breaks regularly, and so should you!

Sometimes it's good to disengage from politics altogether. Election season will surely be particularly frustrating.

Oh I’ve been more engaged in politics than ever. There are just better ways of putting in work than entertaining racist arguments on the shroomery.

Bernie is expected to announce this month, I would encourage anyone on here who supports a progressive vision for our country to spend their time helping his campaign. You’ll convince every voter in the Midwest to vote Bernie before you’ll convince one of the shroomery conservatives.

I think I might be leaning towards Gabbard at this point. She's more antiwar than Bernie.

I don't know about her relationship with Modi, but I do know that Gabbard has since changed her views on LGBT issues, and if you look at her voting record, she has always voted on their behalf. She also made her very first (I believe) campaign ad a sincere apology to the LGBT community. You can't really blame her for being anti-gay at one point in her life. She was raised by a very religious, orthodoxed family, and her dad was politically, and vocally anti-gay rights.

Yeah if we give her the benefit of the doubt on her flaws, she’s almost as good as Bernie.

And trust me I have my criticisms of Bernie, especially in regards to foreign policy.
