Tulsi Gabbard 2020! * 5

I just thought I should start a thread for Tulsi Gabbard, so we can separate her from the Bernie thread. Tulsi Gabbard is a representative in the House, for Hawaii. She was the youngest woman to ever be elected to the house, when she was elected. She left her position in office to serve in the military (National Guard), in 2003. She served in a field medical unit, in a combat zone, in Iraq. Tulsi's religious affiliation is Hindu, and her father is from India, I don't know about her mother.

In 2016 she stepped down from her roll at the DNC, to support Bernie Sanders. She also spoke out against the shady dealings of the DNC during that primary election.

All that, and she's a sexy bitch who does Joe Rogan podcasts.

There are some things not to like, but she has one impressive resume. She was elected to the House when she was 20 or 21 years old.

She's probably the only congressperson in US history to leave office so she could go serve in a combat zone. Honestly, she's just an amazing person in a lot of ways. I get this vibe that she just does what she thinks is right, without making political calculations. It makes sense, if she believes in karma, and all that jazz.

Just think, she could be the youngest woman ever elected to congress, the only congressperson to leave office to go serve in a combat zone, first female president, first hindu president, first Indian president, first Hawaiian president... She will be shattering records lol!

I wouldn't feel cheated if she won the nomination, even though I think nominating a woman of any kind will only further entrench the dipshits who voted for trump last time.  I would much prefer her to Harris.  She would make an excellent VP for Bernie's ticket, should it come to that.

I used to like the Washington post.

I think a good rule of thumb, is to understand that mainstream news media is particularly bad during election season.

Our media is gearing up to frame Gabbard as a pro-Russia, pro-Assad, friend of dictators and tyrants, which is ironic, because she's one of the most anti-war candidates out there.

The good news, is that these attacks didn't work on Trump, and they will not likely work against her, I hope. If I were a conservative, Gabbard would be terrifying. She is a very strong candidate.
