To fruit or not to fruit?
    #25779020 -

Hi,

Newbie here.

It's been seven days since I spawned to bulk.

Mycelium grew very quickly, but I wanted to make sure I waited at least a week.

I'm still not quite sure if I should put this in to fruiting.

What do you guys think?

yes, you can put into "fruiting conditions" at any time really.

Okay thank you.

Is there any risk of contamination at this point?

Contamination can happen at any time. As long as ur spawn was clean and healthy, u have a fighting chance. Introducing it to fruiting conditions will not increase ur risk of contamination. If it contaminates, it means it was already in there and hasn't shown itself yet.

I have wax paper on the substrate as a casing layer.

Should I wait to see pins, or just go ahead with FAE mist/fan?

You should ditch that wax paper and get some FAE going. Looks plenty wet, doesn't need a mist. Fanning doesn't help at all.

no wax paper, that sounds silly.

You don't need to fan and only mist as needed.

Read some stuff in the stickied tek list at the top.
