Identification

Habitat:
Growing on dead fir chips and grass. CA mountains. Current cold with mild rain.

Gills:
Orangish

Stem:
Thicker stems with shorter nature.

Cap:
Orange to dark orange caps, larger and semi wavy.

Spore print color:
Not printed yet.

Bruising:
Haven’t noticed a bruising.

Could be a few things but we can't see any of the finer details to tell you what exactly. Doesn't look active.

Next time take closer pictures of the specimens. Remember to include pictures of the underside of the cap. We should be able to help you better then.
