How do these jars look
    #25771566 -

Hi shroomites,

Just wanted to get expert advice on a few jars. All B+, jars 1, 2& 3 are one clone from a cluster 1st flush. While rest of the jars (& bags)are from another clone

Which jar is suspect n shouldnt be spawned with the lot?

Bags look shit, is it worth spawning them in a seperate tub? Outside? Or just bin  them?

Thanks in advance

From here they all look fine. But what's the timeline? And maybe some close up shots of the grains? Looking good tho.

8 and 12 look funky. But just let them colonize. Bags look a little strange too. I would mix them.

to me, these all look like the kind of spawn that i don't trust enough to use without a shake test. When they look a little less than wonderful i let them fully colonized (or mostly at least) and then shake them up and watch how they act.

Thanks a bunch for the input.

Jars 1,2,3,4,5 G2G 20/1, shake at 30% 24/1.
Jars 6,7,8,9,10,11 G2G 24/1 shoke them after this post.
Jars 12,13,14 Agar wedge 20/1 shake 24/1

Bags were LI 10/1, have kneaded them couple of times since.

I guess going forward, I will eye ball 8 & 12 very closely and probably just do a shoebox. and use the rest (minus bags, they are going outside as the weather is full-on humid downunder.

Thanks, so once fully colonized, a thorough shake and then watch for recovery speed, say within 48 hrs it should have recovered?

anything else in particular to be looked for?

Cheers

yeah. just watch and see. it's usually pretty obvious. if there is any problem in there, the shake will spread it all over and you'll find out before wasting the time energy and money in making a doomed tub.

some say if it doesn't fully recover in 48 hours but i don't toss them that readily. too many factors at play for me to do that. I just toss them if i see any obvious problems. green, brown, red, pink, purple... or parts of grain that just refuse to colonize.

Gotcha, and I tend to agree in my last run I spawned few jars which took almost 96 hours to fully recover, the shoebox gave me 4 flushes before going kaboot.

Thanks for the advice.

I would definitely dump those bags if I were u, they would just be a waste of time and money but the jars look good :super:
